Bluetooth on the Desire

Is Bluetooth on the Desire full working Bluetooth? i.e. allows transfer of files between compatible handsets as well as audio connectivity?

Yeah I think so, someone said they were listening to music with their bluetooth hadphones here the other day

I transfered an mp3 from my old K800i via bluetooth, but although it links via bluetooth to my Tomtom G0 520 and handsfree works it would not connect to use tomtom services

I transferred my contact list from my old phone to this one via bluetooth with no problems...
Although I have got a new hands-free set for my car and it doesn't seem to connect with that, but neither does my old phone so I think it's faulty.

Also as above I cannot get it to "connect" with another device, it only allows me to transfer things etc

My Sony Ericsson MBS-200 Speaker and Sony Ericsson DS-HBH970 Headset work 100% fine with the Desire. If you've got or are planning to get either of these devices then you're good to go.

I have had no problems receiving files and pairing, but an unable to send anything via Bluetooth.

Have sent contacts manually to my carkit via bluetooth, have sent music and photos to a windows mobile phone and a nokia symbian no problems!
