Help Bluetooth Pairing....

I'm having problems maintaining my BT connection to my Garmin 665 Gps...This is on my Goldwing... The unit is on the handlebar and the phone is in a cradle right next to it... I have flushed the BT connection on both units several times and restarted... It wont maintain the pairing... I have to keep redoing the pairing code... All my other phones have worked like a champ.... Maybe something in the settings or something.... The GPS is pretty well bullet proof... and I don't think it is the issue... Thoughts?...

Hi I was hoping someone else would jump in here, I feel im monopolizing things

Ok what rom are you running, I read about stock 4.2.1 having bluetooth drops on the nexus 4 the update 4.2.2 seems to cure probably most peoples problems I have been on CM10.1 since day one of owning the phone so I really dont know anything about that. I do know with this rom I have never had problems pairing to bluetooth.

I think I solved the problem..... I connected BT several times... didn't miss a beat.... Went riding for an hour ... didn't miss a beat.... What happened... The GPS asked permission to load all my contacts.... I said "OK" ... connected.... next time I had to pair again.. same thing... Asked for permission to load all my contacts.... I said "OK"... This time I checked the box which said "Don't ask again" Seems that solved it... It just goes straight to BT now. Cross fingers... .... Cheers...
