i bought a pair of bluetooth headphones when i try to listen to music it sounds like there's a short. i know its not the headphones they worked on my friends phone. could it have any thing to do with the root? Has any one had this problem?

Short? As in one side works or it dims and goes mono?
My stereo headset works, better than wired too.

Sometimes the equalizer on music players can make bt headsets "skip". Just increase buffer size and its fixed.

its funny you say that i was thinking if only i could buffer it. i use power amp but it does it on the stock player also. do i need a specific player or app to a just the buffer? never mind its a older set that only works with older phones. aka no android phones. tried the headphones with my old ascend with cm7 did the same thing.

I use poweramp too, buffer is adjustable in the settings.
But if its as old as you say then that may be the issue too.
