i like the look of those much better than the hard motorola bt headphones. may have to get these when my motorola set wear out.

One thing I am concerned with these earbud BT units is the battery life. The Sony one mentioned above only has 3 hour battery life before recharging which is way too short for me.

best I've had is about that. 3 hours

you could get a port charger with mini USB to supply extra power

I like the LG Mobile HBS-700

above... Great battery life and the earbud with flexible wire probably fits really well. Just have to find a good discount coupon somewhere... Leaning towards it.

The MOTOROKR S9 claims 6 hours of battery time.

Which Motorola headphones do you have?

the s9...when they were new I got about 6 hours out of each charge. They are now a little over a year old and go for about 3 hours of streaming.

My biggest complaint is they are hard to carry around and a bit bulky.

Not uncomfortable, just oddly designed.

you should be able to pick up s9 for around $40-$50 on ebay or at retailers

I know the s10 is out now. Looks pretty much identical, not sure what they changed.

I've had the BackBeat 903 Bluetooth wireless stereo headphones for over a year now and I just love them.

Only issue is heavy wind can muck your voice up on a call. Sound quality on music is very good.

EDIT: I did have issues for a while with the music controller not working properly, but I finally discovered that it was an app conflict, not a problem with the device.

On the plus side they sealed them up around the ears better to prevent sweat getting in. They also spread the bulk of the guts out better.

On the down side they seemed to have made them for tiny heads. My s9 fit well but the S10s pinch a bit. I dont really have a huge head either. If you are of the larger noggin type then they would be really uncomfortable.

I've read reviews about the s10's that said they actually sound worse than the s9's. Is that accurate because I was interested in them. I tried to get a pair of the jabra halo's from amazon but they arrived used and dead on arrival so I'm still in the market for good bt headphones.

I cant really tell the difference other than its "stuck" in base mode and there doesnt appear to be a way to turn it to treble mode like the S9s had.

Personally, i probably prefer the S9s but I gave those to the g/f and got the S10 so I would have to carry one less cable (im a professional traveler).

What was the app conflict? I need to know in advance before I purchase these bad boys.

Not for the headphones listed in the OP. I watched a video review at cnet and they use a funky little proprietary charger. I'm sure Sony will make one for the car though eventually if they don't already. That's always been one of my biggest complaints about Sony... They always try to reinvent the wheel and then get everyone riding on theirs. They scored with blueray but they've just about destroyed their brand with all of the other stuff they've tried.

These headphones look promising though. I'd try them out even with the lack of musb charging capabilities.

By the way on a side note, it's been really nice since I migrated to android that everything uses the musb to charge with. I have 3 or 4 of the chargers and cables and everywhere I go I can charge everything I have.

i just purchased the Jabra Clipper from Amazon. It's a lot smaller than i thought, and you can use your own headphones. Pairing with the evo was pretty easy and sound quality is pretty good as well. i needed something that i could use while i went running and this fits the requirements. The clip is very secure, and the outside is made of some sort of rubberized/waterproof covering.

How does it sound with, say, a pair of computer speakers?

How does it sound with, say, a pair of computer speakers?

I've only used them with a pair of Philips earbuds that i regularly jog with and they sound great. I can imagine that they would sound fine with computer speakers as well. There are a couple of drawbacks though, it doesnt seem to allow you to charge and listen at the same time. Also, when i go running, i carry my phone in a waist pocket on my back. when i clip the clipper to the front of my shirt, the connectivity seems to fluctuate. I'll probably get in contact with Jabra support regarding that issue.
