Help Bluetooth won't turn off

Hey guys.
I'm fairly new to the optimus, just switched over from a crappy transform. So far I've only had one problem. Once my bluetooth is on it can't be switched off. Whenever I try to switch it off the phone freezes and reboots. Same when I try to turn on airplane mode. Seeing as I don't use bluetooth and its a major battery drain I would lie someway to turn it off. Any suggestions. I guess I should mention that everything is stock on the phone.

How are you switching it off?
Try using quicksettings (from the market). Or widgetzoid if you want those settings in widget form.

I was using both the built in power widget and the long way (menu-networks-etc.)

I ended up doing a hard reset then not turning it on. I don't really use it anyway.
