Root Bobzhome's ROM; is it dead?

Hey everyone, was wondering if anyone had any information on when bobzhome might update his ROM. Its my favorite GB ROM, and I really want to continue using it. All of the other ROMs are either to unstable to use, or do not fit my needs for a ROM.

No Bob still updates his rom. I think he updates about once a month. He just updated his kernel with zv9 source so I'm sure he'll be releasing a new one soon with updated kernel.

He will be updating in the next few days according to another post over at some other forums...stay tuned

Bob doesn't update his build alot anymore because he's always working on ICS. HE was the first to get it booted, tbh.

Something happened with his system I think.

If you look on his git, you will notice that he is constantly updating his ics sources. Sure he hasn't released it yet, but he is still working on it hard.

Having issues with the market kinda dissappearing and then saying that it cannot launch... I'm gonna try a different gapps and see if it still does it?

So I'm still having problems... tried wiping cache and dalvik cache but it didn't help and I tried flashing gapps again, but play was still gone... I will say it happened after I partitioned my SD card but I did it the same way I always do. Is anyone else having issues?

Looks like you might have to do a fresh install, then don't skip the sign in. I had the same problem with LeWa. If I skipped the first sign in option, there was no Play store App to do it from. Tried three different times.

When I signed in with the "touch Android" option I had the Play Store.

nah I had been doing a fresh install, but I think I narrowed it down. Anytime I partitioned my sd card from recovery (like I always do, and it always works) it would delete the play store, but I didn't partition this time and I've been running fine with no issues for a couple of days :) sooo smooth!! :) I just wish I could use link2sd....

I didn't and have never tried that... all I did was partition the sd card and it broke the market app, I didn't even touch link2sd before it broke. it was broken as soon as I partitioned it and rebooted.... never has happened on any other ROM

The ext.3 partition doesn't work with the BACKside ROM. The recovery's format to ..............................ext.3
If you partition the sd card in the PC with Mini Tool Partitioning wizard and choose FAT32 or ext.2 or ext.4 then it should work great. I would restore the backup and try ^.
I use FAT32 because it is more ROM versatile (works with all ROM's).

Oh... Ok, well is Bobzhome's ROM basically backside? but... I've never had an issue using backside with my partition... oh well, thanks for replying :)

You might read BobZohme site and see what partition format he recommends for his ROM. If You have a CWMod recovery installed and have ADB set up on your PC (if you don't, there is a Pre-packaged ADB installer in the ATR Guide sticky), then you can use QtADB to partition your SD card to one of any of these: FAT32, ext.2, ext3., and ext.4.
It will also backup your SD card and transfer all that info back to the sd card once it's partitioned.
