So i just obtained 2 warps one has a charging issue other is still like new figure I'd use them for development purposes willing to donate 1 for the right reason to a dedicated dev
 
I think jetx2x needs a replacement his doesn't charge.

However if you have a case I will gladly accept that I can't seem to find one anywhere (Besides the internet).
 
I could use one. Its hard doing dev work with only one phone.
And charging issue wouldnt bother me.
But it would be more fair to let members vote.
 
I think it would be fair to allow a vote and dizzle I have to rubber case covers I actually don't use.
 
And just 2 let people know I really do have them one is from my wife she moved on to icrap 5 and other from my niece upgrade to boost HTC evo design
 
I say pm all the warp devs. See who need a dev phone. Then put a poll up, with the devs who need it as choices, and let the poll run for a week
 
good idea but i think that poll will be either down or shin lol I'm trynna be fair at first I was just gonna give it to down seems like he's one of the hardest working devs that's just my opinion but its also now alot of great new devs.
 
Ya, I know what you mean. One person was thanking me for one of my themes and told me I was becoming one of their favorite devs. I tried to tell them "Yes, I put alot of time into my work. But I am just a themer." But I guess that matters who your talking to and their definition of a dev.
 
Lol yea theres a lot of debait on what some call a dev.
No matter if your making kernels, roms, porting apps, or themeing theres always a lot of stress on your device and when you only have one and need it useable it can cause issues.

A "Dev Phone?" A Dev Phone?? :laugh:

Hardcore devs don't need no stinkin' dev phone. They do all their own stunts live on their own device. Life on the bleedin' edge, baby! :cool:

Yeah... just kidding. I could try to tell myself that to feel cool when the reality is I don't have the budget for a development device :o

There've been so many times when having a seperate Warp dedicated to development would've helped me get that new feature checked out or help me test out someone's ROM without making them wait until I'm done with my current test cycle.

I feel the same way lol.

Id like to get one of the older warps to better check stuff. Mines a newer one and takes almost anything.
 
Thanks for thinking of me, but I have a deticated development test phone. Parts are always welcome though!
 
I could use a strictly development phone that way I could bang out more ROMs, themes whatever and not worry about having to redo my "phone"
 
When it comes down to it. Anyone who works hard to improve upon the warp scene needs a dev phone. That's why it should up to the scene on who gets it.
 
SOLD! Someone made me a offer i couldn't refuse to take both off my hands I will use that money toward my s2 sorry guys :(
 
Too bad...I was gonna suggest donating it to a Cyanogen dev. Glad you're gonna be able to get your S2 though :)
