Wetbiker, try flashing back any ics kernel before restoring the cwm backup.
For some reason cwm does not restore the boot.img

Thanks buddy. I figured there was something simple I was missing. Hopefully it's that easy. I didn't know if it was easy to switch back to ICS once flashed over to JB. It's a very complicated process changing back over with my Transformer. That's the reason I never upgraded to 4.2. Well that and the fact that 4.2 is still buggy as hell. :p

Right now I'm still running JB and it's running great actually. Matter of fact, I'm making a backup right now. lol Hopefully Shinru will get MMS fixed soon. I'll give it a few days because the more I play with JB on this phone, the more I'm liking it. It's still got all of the Cricket stuff on it but that is easily removed. Heh, it's got some pretty neat games on here. lmao The other stuff has already been deleted!

Thanks for helping me out Gus. I appreciate it buddy. :D

HEADS UP EVERYONE. UPDATE PROFILE AND PRL ARE NOT AVAILABLE ON THIS ROM.

I'll try to add those options back, i also got the default apn fixed. and i added the apns-conf.xml from ICS. will upload a patch for you guys to test on MMS

Just a heads up for those of you who try this and may want to flash back to ICS using a CWM backup. You MUST flash an ICS kernel 1st, then flash your CWM backup of ICS. If you don't do this you'll get stuck on the HTC bootscreen after trying the restore.

Gus recommended I try that when trying to restore an ICS CWM backup because I was having trouble. It worked perfectly. Thx Gus! :D

@ Shinru. Even though I set the min cpu speed lower and applied it, it kept jumping back up to the max. That needs to be fixed or people are gonna have terrible battery life.

the kernel included is not a custom kernel, it is the stock kernel from the K2_UL european rom. Any issues with the kernel are out of my control. i am going to build a rom specific kernel for this device later on. As for battery life i haven't really had any issues with it.

Alright. I just wanted to let you know that the Min on the kernel is maxed out and I really don't think it should be. Do you? The phone is running at full speed all the time bro.

I tried to turn it down with CPU Master but the settings won't stick for long.

Nice that you're making a custom kernel for it. That should solve that problem.

I think you need to setup init.d support for CPU master to work. Which means we have to wait for custom kernel that supports it. Then we can use universal init.d apk to enable it in the ROM.

Understood. I basically just wanted to let you guys know that the min setting was cranked up to the same as the max setting.

Hey Irish, hit me up via PM with that info you were talking about. A reply to your PM was sent about 10 or so minutes ago. Thx:)

i think the command is "fastboot flash boot boot.img"

Yup, that's it. He may need to point to the location the boot.img is stored too.

My boot.img is stored in cd c:\Android. I open the cmd prompt, type in cd c:\Android then type fastboot flash boot boot.img. PROFIT! :D
