Never mind the apn's don't seem to work right data seems to stay on all the time. I can connect to internet. but that seems to be about it. i will work on getting the correct apn so that mms and LTE both work.
 
Fixed it. A factory reset and voice search is working again. I have no idea what happened and why it just stopped working. Lol
 
lol, i was wrong about those apns. they work just fine, even better with a sprint prl :) idk about LTE but data and mms are much faster then before. I will post the fix, if you have wifi available then download Google Gesture search and write in apn click on APNs and select the menu then choose restore defaults. it should work fine then.
 
Once he has the ramdisk fix posted then yes you can install this Rom with his jellybean kernel.

Edit: Flashed , still dosent work apns show up but dosent want to connect neither does 3g ?
 
I'll give it a go I have 4g in my area give me a few minutes to download. Btw is this a stock kernel or did you add oc and swap to it shin?
 
3g doesn't use apn settings on CDMA. The authentication happens through the HA shared keys which are what gives you 1x to the A keys which are private and tell evdo you're okay. Lte is a bit different. It uses your internal or external sim (for us internal) to talk to the tower, which is a gsm function. This is why you must have APNs
 
when I hold down the #1 button for voicemail, it dials *99. i believe that night be the number for cricket? Is there any way to get it to work for Boost? also, the voicemail app doesnt work. i restored it thru titanium, and the new voicemail notifications come in thru text messages. Aside from that, this rom is awesome!

I figured it out. Settings in phone dialer, changed the *99 tomy phone number and now when i hold down the #1 button, it dials my voicemail.
 
@ Shinru, or anyone else who might know: is there any way to get the boost mobile Voicemail app to work? i really like to use it.
 
Thanks Guys. How can i get the text messages to stop, and have it display the voicemail icon on the top left corner of the notification bar?
 
any luck with 4G? im going on a trip this tuesday so if its not worked out by then i might have to downgrade back to ics :/ im really loving jellybean which is why ive been able to hold out without internet
 
yes , i live in atlanta theres 4g all over but its not working for me , i could flash back and make a back up of my apns if you want shin?
 
You could try that. Like Simon said I neither of us have found anything 4g related. Only thing I can thing is its the radio baseband. It hasn't been updated for jellybean. So until we have s-off if that's the reason then we won't get 4g until the ota. But I highly doubt that's it.
 
Flashed over and running great thx!!! Can't wait for the 4g fix. One question though, I tried hooking up and changing my prl, but my diag drivers aren't working now and I can't seem to find any that will. Do you happen to have a link to the proper drivers I need now?

I was experimenting with different prls and ended up reverting to the normal boost prl. I haven't had the time to switch back to the sprint prl I intended to use and forgot about it before updating.
