Root [Boost Mobile] Audio prl msl...

Oh okay then. Before i put my hands on another coworkers phone, does iphone prl work the same? I am thinking yes since its still the same network (sprint iphone) another thing. Virgin mobile uses sprint towers does that mean we can use virgin mobile prl as well??

Yes you can use a PRL off a virgin mobile phone on your boost mobile phone, but since sprint has priority over virgin and boost it would be best to use a sprint PRL

Mmm... due to precaution i wanted to ask what would happen. If i were to try n flash the prl.zip from recovery? Would that even be possible? Just curious really ,later today ill be installing a program to change my prl but eh. Just thought id ask the pros

I agree with lilbit. ;) Just stick with the tried and true method. It's better, cause you never know, you might end up bricking your warp. And always remember to create a nandroid backup before you do anything for the first time. It's WAY better being safe than sorry! :)

I went ahead and tried to flash the prl through recovery. Nothing happened... and so then i changed it over my pc. I took some vacation days off work so these past few days I've been as active as possible on the forums. So far I think i did a lot. :) of course only you guys can judge that. Plus im. Mear tester. I've gone through plenty of battery pulls lol. But thanks for the heads up guys.

did you change your proxy settings?

did you change your proxy settings?

Nope. Its the one thing that's been exaggerated not to do so.. i didn't do it. Quick question. In order to flash another prl i have to go in to
Settings/about phone/ update prl
So that it returns to stock then flash a new one correct? I tried just a few minutes ago to flash a new one. Did it twice but when i go to check it doesn't change. Of course i didn't go through the update step and wanted to wing it right away..

You don't have to update your PRL each time. If the program you use wants to update then let it'd program update. But you don't have to go into your phone settings and update the PRL in order to change to a new PRL

The only reason I use the update PRL option in phone settings is if I change my PRL at home on my CPU and I leave the house and end up getting worse service say at work or something then I update my PRL to go back to the most current PRL

Lol turned out it didn't write the new prl because i forgot to input my msl code. My bad :D
I didn't update i just flashed the new one anyways. Thanks for the help though.
