Root [Boost Mobile] Boost Mobile ZTE N860 ROOT ISSUES

Hello to all and congrats on the very helpful forum i managed to get my n860 rooted and all was well till i tried to update the rom that is when i noticed it wont mount the sd card ( the sd card is good i can see it and use it ok in the phone).

#1 i rooted with CWM-Based Recovery v5.0.2.8 i went to super user and removed it but that did not remove the cwm recovery.

#2 i tried the power button and down volume at power up to get it to boot in FTP mode so that i can use the ZTE software to upgrade the firm ware and erase CWM but it will just boot up to the same result as power button and up volume.

i just want to remove this CWM or fix the issue so that the sd card can mount.

please help.

none of the links worked for me but CWM has a feature to partition the sd card after i did a partition it recognized the card and even allowed me to create a back up, so partition the card in CWM and it worked for me.

So you know, superuser isn't what controls the recovery. It only manages what apps can gain root access with your permission. The recovery isn't a part of superuser.

Glad you got it fixed,:) The links I posted are working, they are to threads right here in this forum.:)

Thank you all, i tested it with a 3rd party partitioning software and also got it to work but the easiest and fastest if no pc is available (for me) would be to partition the sd card from CWM.
