I got a text from Boost earlierer today that said that some changes were coming to the "Terms Of Service" agreement on 11/1 and I could go to Boostmobile.com on or after 11/1 and view those changes.I was wondering if anybody knew what this may be about and did you get the text too?

It's actually 11/4 and I am assuming it has something to do with this message I got not long ago as well.

Advance Payment lets you make your payment for next month's service in advance. By making your payment early, you ensure your service will not be interrupted.

Starting 11/4 when you add money to your account and your account balance is equal to or greater than your monthly payment amount, it will be automatically applied towards your next month's payment.

If you add enough to cover more than one monthly payment, only one month will be paid in advance. The rest of your money will remain in your account balance.

Only one monthly recurring charge can be paid in advance. You can cancel the Advance Payment online in My Account or by calling 1 888-266-7848. Cancelations can be made up to an hour before your payment is due.

Basically this means if you apply your Reboost amount early it will be deducted early and not sit dormant in your account until payment is due. Which comes in handy to ward against things like 'subscribed' text messages that charge you and kill your account balance just before it is due.

No, we get that one too. The one I believe the OP is referring to explicitly mentioned changes to the terms of service... I just can't remember all the details.

Yes, they are changing the ToS to reflect the new advanced payment system and it's terms. Hence the actual date Advanced Payment goes into effect and the actual date of the ToS are the same date. 11/4/2012

I could care less I'm about done with boost ill be switching to Verizon soon :D
Though it is a bummer that they can boot you for really no reason, and I certainly hope that dousn't happen to any of us here, you have to admit it's hard to beat when compairing against contract services and also other pre-pay deals. I get super fast service in my area and have never been bugged about amount of data being used.My wife and I have been with Boost for about 5 or 6 yrs now and I really don't have any complaints. I just hope these new terms don't change all that. I hate to see you (or anybody else for that matter) go, from the short time I have been on here you have been a tremendous help.:)
