just a question, i'm seeing more devices being capable with the touch recovery. can this be possible on the warp?

Lol, was thinking the same thing. I like the added safety of buttons. Wrong touch and you lose everything

yeah I've looked into it but the source is closed so its up to kush if he wants to make it for this or not

I have no idea what Koush is upto these days, he changed the licence of CWMR when it went to v5, and started making parts of it closed source. And now the CWMR-Touch is fully closed source..


There was a couple of guys (one of them might of been a girl) on the Blade forums who started adding touch screen support into their fork of ClockWork Mod Recovery long before Kouch started on his, but I have no idea what the status of thier mod is these days.

I think the only way you'd get Kouch to 'officially' support a device is to send him one.

At this point I think we would just settle for a working source code and a decent kernel. Thankfully we are getting closer to the latter.....

Plus there is a chance of more accidents that can happen with that.. It's more for just looks (not to say the functionality has in any way decreased, just commenting on the touch variation of it)

well, i got a test build of twrp 2.1, screen looks a bit funny though, needs some ironing out. It IS pretty tho, and it works. A HUGE change from the basic cwm. Im going to keep working on it, and ONLY release when i get it working 100 pct. cm7 is taking up a bulk of my free time though, I have been trying to fix the RIL issues, but the solution is proving illusive.
