****THIS IS NOT A DEMAND BUT A REQUEST****

We need a custom kernel to fix some of the issues with this phone. Like the backlight on the soft keys staying on. Maybe better battery life...etc

Since the source code is out I thought we might be able to get someone to take this on.

You forgot Speaker Volume:D
 
swap is to android, what virtual memory is windows. it has to beenabled in the kernel and then a swap partitionhas to be added to your sd card. the running, inactive apps are swappedto this partition in the case of low memory, instead of the internal task killer killing them
 
the warp has no Carrier IQ that i know of, i remember reading a thread earlier last year about the warp not having it
 
Hmm, i'll play around with it again. I couldnt get it to work. I had it working just fine on an ext2 on my prevail. Never got a swap on, on the warp. Everytime I get a swap on fail. Hence thinking it was disabled
 
warp has no ciq, stock. If you want to test yourself there is an app (carrieriq spy) on the market that will run and tell you yes or no. Tried it on warp. No ciq. Tried it on stock triumph ciq enabled. As far as i tested its reliable.
