Agreed. No offense to the OP, but I'll wait for a stable version. Being unemployed kind of ruins my chances of getting a new phone if mine dies. I'd much rather pay my car payment xD
 
ok, made a proper build, BUT, big but... it shows two of everything... which is quite sucky in my opinion, it faces the right direction, but theres 2 of everything. from what dees_troy told me, it could be the pixel format. twrp uses something different from the cwm in cm7 we are using, which is TARGET_RECOVERY_PIXEL_FORMAT, and there are 3 formats to choose from, I really dont know which one will work for our warp, so ima try them all and see. The recovery I built is usable, but there are a few things i gotta fix first. first thing is instead of booting into recovery using the usual volume up method, for some reason it switches it to volume down... which Im still trying to figure out. the next thing is the problem I stated above. also the colors are wierd. instead of the blue twrp logo, it shows as hot pink. as stated above, it could be the pixel format.

Or you could prepare ahead of time and make a folder labeled .a and put the file yoh wanna flash in ahead of time then theres not much scrolling needed

I've always used volume down.

That's the issue... I have hundreds of test files on my phone... I can't keep them on my computer because it only has a 55gb hard drive and I have less than a gig left...

My thoughts exactly, cwm is your life line if something goes south. I forsee some people begging for help soon
 
rebuilding now when it is done ill give you a link main problems are (1) hard to see. (2) upside down (to busy with other projects to fix that anyone who feels like can fix it just upload it and link us) this will be used in my new rom. MUST BE FLASHED WITH FASTBOOT
 
right now Im doing a bunch of test builds with each pixel format, trying to see which one will work for our phone. if none of them work, ima haveta play with the code some to see if i can fix the issues. hopefully, I can get a sexy build together for you guys to play with. everything with the recovery works tho, except the screen issues, like installing zips, mounting usb, etc etc, so i cant wait to give you all something sexy to play with, and some instructions to make your own custom themes for twrp too...

well, I almost got it.. looks like the recovery pixel format that would work is RGBX_8888, BUT half of it is upside down and the other half is not, and the colors for the other half that isnt upside down is wrong, completely wrong. ima see if i can fix this, I think it's the buffer for the flipped screen code. I may haveta try doubling the output.

Lol... I don't know why all the space is gone...its technically not mine but the entire family's... I'm the only tech savy one in the house and Ive pretty much sifted through the entire thing for bs files but haven't found any... I wish I could just format it but my mom would probably kill me :(

Get your own sd card and switch them out when your usin the phone
