Yeah, I'm not sure but I think the problem for me and maybe others is you get fc when your using dps mannager and dtm's test kernal 4.1. They don't go well together.

No the updater-script isn't deleting /system/lib/soundfx/ however delete that folder before flashing it should work.

Ok I tryed that on alian kernal and dtm's test build kernal. And on dtms test kernal I still get fc sometimes when I unplug earphones, I think maybe it has something to do with the mp3 recognition problems, or something els on that kernal

Dtms kernel is having music errors in general.
 
Was there a flash able zip because I don't see it or do I just have to do it the way you did(I'm mad lazy lol)

Ill update the thread later you need to delete system/lib/soundfx/ and then flash a package. As of now it isn't available.
 
You should only need to add one file to the soundfx folder for DSPManager to work. That is libcyanogen-dsp.so deleting other stock libraries or replacing them will cause fc and sounds might not play period. Just some friendly advice .
