Root [Boost Mobile] HELP! Need to root Tri-Band SPH-L710T after OTA latest update (L710TVPU0AO3)

Does this work? I don't want to end up with a brick and have my wife nagging at me.
 
would like to point out that if you take the new update (L710TVPU0AOF2_L710TSPT0AOF2_L710TVPU0AOF2_HOME.tar)
you will not be able to flash a custom recovery ...... any help would be appreciated

Just finished odined the nf4 tar back to stock. Flashed octos twrp and ROM. No rotation issues camera works. Thank yall
 
I see, yes I have tried it already, it works perfectly, I just don't know what is new in this update, notice new PRL 33041
 
Yes i tried both recoveries and after updating to the latest firmware AOF2
U can not use any version of odin to flash recovery..... guess im stuck with a non rooted phone for now.... i also tried nf4 and AO3 .tar also and nothing works... will not let me downgrade either

When I was on AO3, boot in recovery mode (Philz)> Wipe Cache Partion> Advance> Wipe Dalvik Cache> Wipe Data/Factory Reset> Clean to install a New ROM> Wipe Cache Partion> Advance> Wipe Dalvik Cache

Then boot in download mode, open Odin flash the TAR, it takes 10 to 15 min to complete, after phone restarts and finish booting, turn off phone, boot in download mode, flash Philz and root.

MAYBE IS RISKY OR STUPID, LOL BUT IT WORKED FOR ME! I COULD END UP WITH A BRICKED PHONE

My phone is working good I'm having one issue so far, trying to update Facebook app, phone restarts over and over again 4 to 5 times, uninstall it, phone back to normal but I can't install Facebook back again, tried it but phone start to restart over and over again, any word on that?

the latest firmware is not AO3.......its AOF2
and it will stop you from flashing a custom recovery STAY AWAY FROM (AOF2)
 
Yes, I know, too late, i'm already on AOF2 but thanks for the advice!:) I'M NOT TRYING TO ENCOURAGE TO TRY THIS, JUST SHARING MY EXPERIENCE.

Im not sure we are understanding each other ...i am running (AOF2) and philz can NOT be installed
i have been trying all night....
