Root [Boost Mobile] hung up on fastboot

any ideas where I could find this htc sync doesn't show up on any searches

I found a conversation about HTC SYNC on our forum for the HTC Rezound this is what someone said they did

Its really weird bcuz after seeing all the posts abt uninstalling htc sync I didnt have too! I removed the HTC Sync loader from starting up when windows started and then rebooted my computer so it wouldnt be running. This worked fine for me, and maybe it will help someone else!

thanks I'll try that seems like my computer wants to read my phone whenever it wants to sometimes it says I have no device hooked up sometimes it reads everything. I did get to install cwm though. but it keeps saying it cant mount my sd card so it's not let me do anything. any tips on that 1 I'm sure you heard of that before.
