Root [Boost Mobile] Introducing the warped tablet

We will get this going this weekend. It should take a week or more, but I will be learning the whole time. Thanks to apollo for giving me the rights to play with this idea and help to tweak it however we can to make it tablet worthy for those of you who have a tablet and get "confused" switching back and forth. Or just for those people who would like a tablet but can't afford one like me. :O)
 
Let's just say some or most.. But it wont be all considering I will be using other people's tweaks and techniques and you helping me throughout the entire duration of creating this. I just hope to please the people with something we can come up with. I know it wont be too much or even able to measure up to your ROM the way it is and how smooth it is, but I want to make something equivalent if possible.

Dont worry im not going to short change you and give you bad stuff all the tweaks and what not will be good we dont want bad ROMs we want badass ROMs and hey this will be the first ever tablet ROM so it will be badass

The process would be simple and the same as for regular roms...the only difference is that the theming process would be different... there are multiple sets of icons included in all apps and are different sizes... the app will choose what set to use based on the dpi (resolution) of the device... if you lower the dpi (increase resolution) then the apps will use a different icon set...

Out of curiosity, how does this actually work? I have read it is "like" changing the screen resolution though not the same thing. Can anyone clarify?

Yeah I read that as well except.. Every screen has a pixel per inch specification. Unless you can program hardware to evolve now, like borg nano-tech or something, That doesn't make sense to me.

Edit: Nvm, I just googled it and it pretty much just makes the phone render all objects smaller.

Yeah, I did search for it before but 90% of the links were for downloads of lcd resolution. It's not easy to get info on certain things at times.
 
Dun forget the compatibility for older apps crap.
Some noobs might not have experienced spare parts- usually included in cm7 roms.just uncheck that and reboot to fix app screen size with some apps
