Root [Boost Mobile] [MOD] CTMod ROM n00b'ed (RC2 1/4/13)

Great ROM Mr. BOBO! Extremely fast! Only 1 thing, I wanted to change my proxy settings, and ##3282# won't open.

Thanks! It'll be the first thing that I do after I get a job. Or you know, when I get really bored from applying to places. Whichever happens first. Hahaha

Id like contacts to stay for things like email and occasionally text plus. But yes i will no longer be using this as a phone
 
Both phones working fantastic on my end. Any chance to put a zip out to get a hidden menu for prl changes? I use Flext9 keyboard and because it can no longer be bought I use Lucky Patcher on it, however, LP is giving me error that my Busybox is wrong so I downloaded Busybox and changed it to numerous versions to no avail. LP won't work and I get fails on every setting. Never had this problem b4. No idea what to do. Any suggestions? No biggie if not because I use SwiftKey 3 (bought it) primarily its just FlexT9 uses Dragon Voice and it's the best for that as well as one handed typing.
 
I can look into the ##3282# issue, didn't notice that, can anyone tell me if that works on CT before this mod?

I am not sure about the busybox issue, this ROM is signed and locked down in ways n00b isn't so it might be related to that somehow... I have installed swiftkey keyboard without issues though, how are you trying to install it? if you are making it a system app, maybe it would work if you installed it as a user app instead in data/app vs system/app.
 
I think since the ROM is signed we need blooddawn to sign the emode.apk app so we can put it back as a system app, I don't know if there are other dependencies though that were also removed.

I've always install FlexT9 as a user app but have to run it through the Lucky Patcher (LP) app first otherwise it won't work. I don't advocate using LP and only intent for using it is for paid apps that are no longer supported and can't be bought because of it. At this time I ONLY use LP for FlexT9 keyboard. If somebody uses FlexT9 and has a way to purchase it please share that path with me so I can buy it. I won't need LP then. I still can't understand why LP won't work with this ROM though due to to Busybox. Weird.
 
I remember bloodfawn sayin tjat he removed the secretmemu.apk as it does not work with ctmod but that may have ben for the first build
 
Hey guys, I'm having trouble using UOT kitchen on CTMod. I keep getting SHTF errors. Any ideas on how to bypass it?

I am pretty sure blood said somewhere that his rom wouldn't work with the kitchen... Bumma, I know!

Thanks for the heads up with the SystemUI! I tried it again after submitting just the framework and it worked pretty well!
