Root [Boost Mobile] My warp is dying.

hey everybody long time no check in. life has been keeping me busy.

well it seems that my warp is not very happy...
i had started working on a updated version of alienwarp but im afraid thats not going to be happening as first my led stopped working and then the serch button stopped, now every once in a while the digitiser wont respond untill i pull the battery and reboot.

im just hoping my phone will hold out untill i can get some money up for another phone.:(

Sorry to hear that... aging hardware is never fun. It might sound cheesy or misappropriated, but to me it always just ever-so-slightly feels like you're watching an old friend in failing health.

I know what you mean. I was really sad when my Warp began to die. I knew it was going to be a problem when I woke up a little earlier only to find out that my phone had black screened on me when I needed its alarm to wake me up in a few hours. :(
 
I will. Just hoping my warp can hold out till june. If it does then i should be able to get whatever phobe i want.
 
That stinks. My button lit up but didn't take touch input.
I have a spare button circuit board lol. I had tried it to see if that was what was wrong but didn't change anything.
I suppose if I could figure out a safe way to ship it I could see about sending it to you if you want to open your phone and try it.

Thanks, AD said he had one too, but I dont want to open up the phone!!:)
 
I've had mine for a year next month and it's on it's way out, I get wild responses on the screen
For example like say if I were to touch a J on the text screen it will in put E I also have to put something under the charging cable for to connect, still a great phone tho

I feel you there. June iirc is 1 year for me too.
I replace my charger with one I got for free (says LG :thumbdown: ) but I dont have to prop for charging any more as its almost scary tight.

I had to prop mine to charge. Turns out the usb port is glued in lol. I took it apart and glued it back together. My warp is going on 14 months now
 
Mine is one of the original warps. It came with B06, I had the prevail but bought the warp the minute the dealer had them in stock:) Still going Strong:D
 
I bought mine in January. It runs great but the internal speaker is busted. I can't understand half what anybody says it sounds do distorted. I'm buying an s2 next week and sticking Pac man Rom on it and keeping this to dev on (yeah right like I will really be able to keep myself from being able to dev on the s2 lol).

Boost should be getting the s3 soon. Don't know that I'd spent the $ on a 2
