Wouldnt it be easier if you just put the file in a folder in your sd & go into cwm & theres gonna be a line that says "install zip from sd card"
& it will unzipp it & install it for you automatically

Edit : & then you just reboot

How long and the method of installation. The update.zip version can n be easily edited. nandroid version consists of disk images, update.zip version= installer + file structure. You can add delete add needed, where as nandroid format can not be accessed to add/delete easily

If this has nothing to do with my nandroid please make your own thread. thanks.

what is the error?
I dont know what to say anymore. I know it has nothing to do with the OP of this thread.

i believe that he is trying to say he has and update.zip version of your nandroid backup, i too am working on it bit am having trouble getting it to mount the system correctly, it flashes fine but fails to copy the files to the specified directiory... this IS important because if you can get a 'stock.zip' working, then i can start making something custom... (ie- deodexed, zip aligned, some custom this and that, COMPLETE theming using uot... the list goes on) if this needs to be addressed in a different thread, one can be started, but i thought this was the thread for providing 'stock' recovery options, not just for peopleto say "hey, it restored, thanks!" over and over and over. i need some info to make more progress. you see i dont own yall's phone, my roommate does, so, for now, i can only use him for testing via email correspondence as we both travel for work and neither of us are in the same state now... if you are content with your phone as it is and can speak for your whole community i will leave well enough alone, im just trying to help advance the development of this phone to a point where i feel it is worth buying

starting to seem like a waste of my time, everytime i try to help or gather info, someone on here seems to have some snotty responce, or just have no interest in helping the people with enough knowlege to get things done.

EDIT- got test files to copy:D... just had to mount system manually...
