ZTE Warp Nandroid RC2.zip
I installed ZTE Warp Nandroid RC2.zip now by reinstalling CWM. "Thanks AndroidxD" How do I use the -handset software update tool- to go back to stock recovery and stock android? It asks for FTM mode and with Nandroid installed it goes to CWM so how do I make handset software update tool work because I can't enter FTM mode? I have tried Woodstock's suggestion using -dial *983*87274# on your dialer and choose "only Diag"- Does not work for me. I can press "only Diag" it scans for phone and says I need to enter FTM mode. So what do I do?while holding the power to turn it on, press the volume up button to get into cwm
Flash stock recovery back the same way you flashed CWM recovery. If you download the installer I made it has stock in there also just choose it. framework-res.apk I think. I just used UOT kitchen to change the notifaication icons. I dont know about the power bottun options.woodstock77, quick question, what file controls what the notification/staus bar does, and the power button phone options.....
Recover? should be backup and restore/then restore. It should show a dated backup. select it then it should ask you if your sure about it select yes and it it should restore the nandroid backup to your phone.I am still having troubles tying to flash the custom recovery from Woodstock. What is the name of the file on the sd card that i should be placing the unziped folder into? Somewhere I believe i read that it was called "Root"... I have no such file on my sd card. When i go into CWM and then into "backup-recover" It just opens the folders and and displays the files.. but they are not "loadable" so to speak. If i click on any one of the individual files, it says, instalation aborted.. any ideas what im missing?
Dude you gotta unzip the nandroid into backup on the sdcard. its located in the clockworkmod folder. then reboot into CWM and go to backup and restore and choose restore. Then you will see a dated folder there. Choose it and then choose yes.hmm.. I do have a backup folder but the only item in the folder is another empty folder that says apps. And just for diagnostics sake, i did try and boot in CWM with the files located in said folder, to no avail.
Ok 1st do you have CWM recovery installed? From this thread http://androidforums.com/warp-all-t...orkmod-5-0-2-7-beta2-warp-released-today.html or you can use the one click in this thread http://androidforums.com/warp-all-things-root/490927-one-click-process-installing-cwm.htmlIm about to leave for home now, and will try again when i get home. I think i will have an issue tho, as i do not have the folder you specify. There is NO such CLOCKWORKMOD folder what so ever. I do have a folder sd:/backup but its only contents are an empty folder that is called "Apps". I think this folder is left over from an old backup app i tried when i first got my phone. I have unzipped the file in both SD:/Backup and SD:/backup/Apps and neither worked. Maybe i need to try and reinstall my CWM ... perhaps the error was in that process?
