Root [Boost Mobile] new software from boost???

i just received a message from boost ,, says look for a softwareupdate notice soon.make sure your battery is charged,accept the update then reboot.you cannot use your phone during update. anyone else receive this?
 
I haven't gotten anything from boost. but just to be on the safe side, I'd go into CWM, and make a back-up, that way if they push something through, you can just restore from your backup.

I myself haven't but there's another thread just posted with the same info...so apparently they're wanting to push through an update. Make a backup in CWM
 
I think ZTE would have announced something like that. Doubt its ICS probably another update to kill root and supposedly fix issues.
 
To the people that have gotten the notification what time zone are you guys in? I'm in Florida and haven't gotten anything yet

I don't think it's where, more likely when you bought the phone. I'm wondering if the ones who are getting it have the earlier versions of the phone or something. Cuz I haven't gotten it yet.
 
I have the og but I don't see it being revision specific, one rom version can run on both the old and new warp hardware. Only difference between them is the touch screen
 
Who know's how they're going about doing it. Likely I'll get the push right after I go to bed tonight. That'd be my luck
