Root [Boost Mobile] new software from boost???

There is an updated PRL try updating to the new one, i did yesterday and it made a world of difference
 
Boost automates the messages, they are pushed even if you don't have service. If you are connected to wifi you can still get it.
 
I just received a notification that the update was downloaded and ready to be installed. I went ahead and installed it. I don't see a difference. Android version 2.3.5 Kernel version 2.6.35.7-perf+ I have no idea what is new with this update. Anyone know?
 
So I received the update but I am afraid to install it. I am running shins rom. has anybody install the update yet?

Did it take your root access or cwm?

What is the build version?!?
 
Wow... im scared now... an upgrade with no visible changes? Something under the hood must be different now...

When i check for update it says no firmware update available. So i don't think it is out yet. And of course i'm on my rom lol
 
They got us excited for no reason... if someone could somehow get a copy of the update zip we could extract and see whats new or different

I just cant see an Update/Bugfix being release with the same build number, its unheard of. The whole reason of the build versions are to show the reflected changes to the system.
 
Ok, so far I've noticed one change. Before I could not playback movies with the Flixter app. I was curious to see if the update did anything and guess what... I can now view movies from the Flixter app! I know it's not a big deal but I'm guessing the update fixed some bugs.
 
This whole situation sounds fishy... I need some confirmation from somewhere before I do anything now...

so where is the update stored cause i have it and i have not installed it. is there a way i can make a copy and upload it for you?
