Root [Boost Mobile] Noob on the scene, comon devs share the knowledge wealth

Newbie
First time posting here, so hopefully I get it right, I'm a noob with zte warp n860 (boost) n I have been digging alot in the last week about rom n app Dev. Modifications etc for my warp. And thanks to posts by Mr. BoBo, Guspeed, jetx2x, dtm, etc (hopefully spelled them all right) (they need no introduction, everyone Nos em) all their hard work n postings I've become quiet intrigued with the dev of the roms and themes, kernels etc. Problem is I'm outta date on the programming part by bout 6 yrs lol, so in short, I no the devs already have a consistent busy schedule, but I was in hopes that anybody n everybody that might be intrigued to help others lacking little knowledge might post in here advice n info links etc. Best software to use, etc.

Thanks again to all the devs!!! W/O folks like y'all technology wouldn't progress the way it has, ( although sometimes I miss the no technology days, lol it was easier)

Welcome, first off I would suggest sitting down in a comfortable place and read the top six stickied threads. That will get you about half way there. Other wise. Start asking questions... after you try to search for the answer.
 
I've scatter read so much lol I am rooted running shinjitsu rom with mods made n proxy servers etc. But ill fully read top 6 stickys just ta see what I've missed , thanks for the response!
 
Well for rom development I'd go back to Mr bobos n00b rom thread where he has several rom development tools listed in post #3.
 
I agree my fella posters, I myself am running Mr bobos rom. N quiet enjoy how it isn't a memory hog along with the speed it has, almost like putn a 69 moch 1 motor in a 2010 Honda accord lol. I myself only wanna learn so I can customize the look of the rom on my phone, I no there's themes for this rom. But I wanna realtree camo look, plus I like the idea of the challenge, I just want the look now lol n I no it'll take me awhile to get it where I want workin 15 hrs a day. So if any 1 would be interest in putn me a theme together. I'd pay for the troubles (within reason anyway) or if there's a simple way to build a theme for the rom like a file base to use n just make adjustments such as jpg's or what not. That n outta date person such as I could do. I'm open to knowin, and hey thanks for posting!
 
Oh my goodness!! Themes?!! Mr. Bobo's rom has more theme's for it than any other rom we have!! Just check The OP of Mr. Bobo;s thread, he has them all linked in there.

If you want a specific theme, chances are there's one somewhere on the internet (XDA :P) I downloaded an APK of a CM7 theme and extracted the image files that I wanted then put it in my phone with ninjamorph. It took me a couple of weeks to get my phone looking how I wanted but its sooo worth it :D I myself am running Noob VII with Warped Sandwich. I didn't like some of the icons though so I went and found the ones I wanted and themed the theme basically.
