Root [Boost Mobile] Official CyanogenMod 11 Nightlies!

Good deal it'll be nice to be able to move forward with the gapps. Testing this new build did a dirty flash over stock to see if that made any difference in my issues. So far been fine just same issues with APN settings and all that crap. Wish I could have MMS,lte, and my 3g all working as they do on stock but alas no luck yet.

So are you familiar with the app APN Backup and Restore? My other thought/suggestion for you is to go back to stock from a backup, make a backup of your APN settings using that app, and then flash back to CM11 and restore the APN backups you just made. If you do use that app, two things you need to know to make it work:
1. You have to move it to /system; Titanium can do this for you very easily, otherwise move the .apk to that directory using your file explorer, and set permissions
2. Once it is in /system, you need to open the app and choose the option called "Disable ICS check"

If you don't do these two things, the app will never work properly on 4.3.x and higher.

I never could get MMS to work that way. I use hand cent. Every thing works for me. Minus the LTE/WiFi glitch but a hot reboot fixes that

In KitKat APN Back and Restore has to be moved to system/priv-app in order for it to work.

Here the crazy thing fellas. I could do a reboot and all my mms messages would come through. Really weird. Looks like I may be doing some work with this today and seeing if I can figure something out. Wish me luck. I'll be reporting my findings. Hopefully I'll figure out some sort of work around that will fix the issue.

Try flashing the MG2 modem just for kicks as well. There are a couple of VM users who have posted solid evidence that MMS send and receive is working on LTE with our APN fix and CM11, and it seems like that modem was part of the specific setup they were using. Good luck! Maybe this will help with reboot and data issues as well.

Thank Ya sir. I will definitely give it a try. I've got a free day so there's gonna be some testing done for sure. Hope you've got your phone on because I'll need some help testing mms and such.

I'm back running WS because I needed a stable, tested ROM with me while traveling yesterday. Time to get to testing I guess. Gonna take a few to get set up. I'll contact you when I'm set. Let me know if you will be able to help test mms. I don't want to bother you if you're busy bro.

Headed to flash CM11 now. Be back on in a bit. ;)

Testing is no problem bro, I have a few hours before work and even at work I am officially allowed to have my phone with me! For "business" purposes, of course.

Cool beanz bro. In the process of getting-er done atm. You'll receive a text when I'm fully set up. I'm gonna try the newest nightly too, 12/18. We shall see what duh bizz iz with that 1. Also restoring to MG2 as recommended earlier. Will b in touch....

Very nice! Looks like the changelog for the upcoming nightly also has a commit for fixing the persistent voicemail notification some users have been having trouble clearing, as well as a delay option when sending SMS. Sure seems like CM team is responding very quickly to any given issue as these builds continue!

Edit: Looks like a post in another thread also confirms Bluetooth issues have been fixed. I don't pay attention to that issue usually because I don't use it, but it ties in with the rapid response on the part of CM team and is obviously going to be important info for those who do use Bluetooth.

Struckn, you know what I'm running and what's up. I will not post details until I have absolute confirmation I have this baby fully tested.

And yes, I added the 747. Lol and this baby is screaming like a banshee.

Thank you again for helping me test. :D

Good call buddy. Keep me posted. SMS and MMS my way whenever you want!

Finally jumped on... Running 12-18 no problems at all yet... Had trouble flashing it so I ended up flashing to md7 stock and updated prl/profile, then had to remove the modem check from the update-scipt... Flashed fine from there, flashed gapps and this it so far... No problems... SMS, MMS work... I think 4g is going to work, have to test tomorrow but I'm on LTE/CDMA and I did get 3g. Normally with the aosp Roms I would have to do CDMA only to get 3g, so my hopes are up... I did not do any apn fix of any type! So far it seems very stable. Liking it so far.

Just an update. Have been running the newest nightly with the 747 kernel. Experienced lock ups during screen rotation occasionally. From past posts I've read, this can be caused be the kernel. I have now switched to the dkp kernel using the Trickster Mod. Fingers crossed this eliminates my issues.

Other than the ones mentioned, this this is running great. I use ChompSMS and went ahead and set it to the correct the Boost MMSC and other settings. Struckn and I have verified this is working perfectly. Whoop whoop! I sure hope this kernel change solves my screen lockups. I also experienced 2 random reboots since flashing this morning. Pretty sure it's kernel related. I'll keep you guys updated. :D:thumbup:

Well 12-18 does not have working LTE ... When I got into 4g area no data worked at all and had to change to CDMA only to get 3g... MMS worked with original flash. No added apps or mods... Other than no LTE I have not experienced any problems... Screen rotation is fine so far...
A clean install and gapps is all I did.

Hello, I am thinking about flashing this rom, does anyone know if this rom has multi window and the halo program installed, thanks.

Nope. I answered this in the other thread you posted it in. If you want multi-window, HALO or PIE you're gonna need to go with Paranoid Android or a ROM like that. This CM nightly doesn't have them. At least not that I saw. ;)

Thanks for the response but do you know what other roms have it, that's why I posted in the roms thread to ask the people who already have that rom installed. You said paranoid Android OR A ROM LIKE THAT. I'm not sure what other roms qualify.

Well, it depends on what you want, AOSP or TW. Personally, there are so many new ROMs out there with these options that you could go and look just as easily as I could and get your answer faster.

Look in these 2 sections. the OP will let you know if iT has HALO or PIE or both.

Many of these are TW but there are several very nice AOSP ROMs in here too.

Here are the original ROMs. Many of these are AOSP

Just read through the threads and you'll get your answers. Some of them even have what's listed in the link title.
