Root Boost mobile one sv kernel development

None that are fully functional for our phone yet. The ones I've tried all broke wifi. Might have even been a few more things that weren't working too. Once I saw there was no wifi I switched back to stock.

Jmztaylor has a jb kernel for the sv but something's aren't working

Yup. I tried it when it was first released. Matter of fact. I think I posted the first review in here letting everyone know wifi was broken. I was looking forward to running that sucker too. Lol!

Hopefully Shin or Simon will have us a kernel in the coming weeks.

Ok, back to the movie! :D

your welcome, and i might be getting a boost force soon as well so i can start on that too.... lol might need to make a dev group.

New kernel will be up later Codename: Jaded Jackalope

I've got a kernel working on the force OCed to 1.67. I added a few governors too, but that's all I have so far. I'm new to the kernel game.

Does This Kernel Require S-off? I bricked my phone flashing it the first time with angry walrus. Installed the zip then flashed boot and tried installing the zip again after. my CWM restore wouldn't even restore for some reason. had to find the RUU. Now I'm re rooted S-on still and have now tried to fastboot boot instead of flash.. but with all four kernels same results.

phone will turn on show the HTC quite brilliant screen with disclaimer on bottom about for dev purposes only "not the normal plain one" and then blank black screen just constant.

I believe this is for ics. If you're using jb, and I'm assuming you are, use Simons kernel. It's for jb. And I know it works because it's what I and many others use. :)

first lets get some things straight. You didnt brick your phone, since brick means you cant recover it (because your phone would have to become as useful as a brick). Second, what phone do you have, what rom verson, and are you unlocked bootloader?

I don't ask questions. I'm not good at support. Thanks Simon. :)

Okay that must be why, I am updated to JB. and okay soft brick? all I could do was get into Hboot and recovery. any time I tried a full boot just a black screen and every 10 seconds looks like it reboots but never loses the black screen..

I am stock Rom rooted Stock Kernel with Stable CWM and S-on

Very little done just unlocked and rooted. wanted some write permissions to the filesystem now.

Simon The Link to your Sickle Kernel is dead... fried from XDA and by going to your website. Still nothing. could you possible send me a ling to it or email me the .img file so I can boot it and see if it works for me please.

I actually had gave up looking and got the source code for the kernel and was going to try to learn customizing on my own (experienced with networking and know my way around Linux fairly well) but looks like the source code HTC uploaded is for the ICS as well

plus my toolchains wont compile it says something about nothing in drivers or something idk been about a week since ive messed with it

Follow my guide for compiling with my source. It's in my thread here. I'm not as active as I would like to be on this phone due to Academics.

I actually just downloaded your ROM and pulled the boot.img out booted from it and so far up and running showing Kernel Version

simon@p000001 #1
SMP PREEMPT

Thanks and I will try your source code out seems like it all finished up for a kernel though, got all the basics anyone could really ask for if it has

Write Permission
Gov
Availability to OC or UC
Swap

Thanks for the Help Everyone

The link is broken. Does anyone have a copy of the latest kernel?
I've come back to the One SV and want a fresh twrp backup.

Edit:
Never mind. It looks like the bootloader has been jacked on JB 4.2.2 and you can't do this anymore so just RUU it.
