Root [Boost Mobile] [OS] Ubuntu Build Box 13.04

I think the guys are using it because of older machines that don't have all that power and hard drive space?

EDIT: Mint is the bomb!! I'm using Maya on an older laptop, and it flies!!
 
I'm not currently running it but you got to love mint. Its the only distro I know of where everything works out of the box

edit: UBB 13.04-2 has cinnamon desktop installed fyi. You will need to change the session at login to use it but it's there.
 
also feel free to let me know if nobody will use it. I would only be doing it for you ;)
 
I was just asking Super if I could make one with his setup, and the ISO i had pulled out was Cinnamon, got it on my desktop ,stripped and ready to go lol

Yea, but when I use Ubuntu, X-Org lags worse then the Sequent, But when I use my vendor's proprietary drivers for my graphics card, Everything runs smooth as butter but my screen flashes black. The OS itself doesn't lag, I downloaded the Jellybean repo in 10 minutes. I experience these issues with only Ubuntu and X-Org as these issues have never occurred for me in mint even when using vendor drivers for my graphics card.
