well how would one go about starting this project

make sure you have a linux dedicated machine, then download Hroark13's kernel source. google "How to build android kernel" to get it all set up and follow this guide provided by google.

once you have everything set up then use your make menuconfig command and under one of the menus (Cant remember which one) there is an option to enable swap

well im afraid i wont be able to start work on this for a while... i am waiting for the asus maximus formula 5 to come out before my core i7 rig is complete so no compiling for me
