Hey wats up wit the whole superuser 3.1 after flash?i keep trying to update my binary and it keeps giving a fail saying that the su path cant be found or sumthing..

Has anyone tried out of curiousity, going to their router's configuration, designating a static ip for the phone, and setting that in wifi settings? it seems like if It is connecting to the router but not passing data, its a dhcp/dns issue that won't automatically assign ...curious if this simple change will do anything
That was a great idea. I just set my phone to a static IP and it's doing okay on wireless now. Nothing needed to be done on the router except to check to make sure I didn't assign a duplicate address to any DHCP address the router might assign. To ensure the Wifi changes took affect properly, I restarted the phone which is some thing that should be done between each change to a Wifi connection if one is having problems with connecting like we've been having. That ensures caches, time-to-lives, and other network functions are cleared not only on the phone but to the other devices on the network like the router. At the same time I re-flashed the WiFi fix a second time and ran fix permissions. When I restarted the Wifi connected and has stayed connected. This is okay if I'm going to use my Wifi in only one location but not when travelling. It may, however, give those who are writing the code to make this work some insight into the problem. At least I hope it does.

Now I've found I've no root now. I tried to use TB and is won't work. Hmmmm
:)tk

I saw on the androidsu website that the 3.1 binary is no good.eventhough they have it posted.so all i did was flash the 3.0.3.2 binary and it works fine now.also made sure busybox was installed and updated to 1.20.1 .its all good now

Welcome back N0ve. Yeah that was the first thing I did after I tried every way of flashing but didn't work. It's something in the modules or the tweaks causing it. Every kernel we try lately at least has one major issue. I tried getting a hold of hroark today to hopefully get a good b08 kernel that's completely stock to get for Apollo but hroark isn't accepting messages. Seriously every single kernel changes the problem and creates a new one. The kernel we're using now was made by shin just yesterday to fix WiFi and it did fix enough to now show that WiFi is on and connected but now can't get data. Freaking weird

So this worked for you? and yeah you can do static ip without having to enter your router configuration but it could possibly lead to IP address conflicts if you don't reserve it...I do this at my home all the time but yeah when your on public wifi your going to have to switch back to auto...interesting that this worked for you but not others...I was talking to apollo last night...and like i said if it connects but doesnt let data pass the device just isnt getting passed thru dhcp correctly...I know apollo will fix this very shortly but I figured it couldnt hurt to try this, I'm going to try it myself tonight too..@Smoothkhaos this Did Not work for you? (make sure you pick an ip that your other computers aren't using...gateway depending on router brand switches from 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.1.0 sometimes....netmask is always 255.255.255.0 ... ) curious if this worked for anyone else..

ok i will try n0ves post and for the 3g will it said i have signal but when i go to the market it says waiting for connection and the browser says cant open page :(

Have you tried fixing permissions or just a regular reboot? I usually get that if my 3g gets cut off from a call somethings will tell me its not connected so i disconnect it and reconnect and it works fine i hope this helps

Can you turn on/off the 3G connection under the Mobile networks Data Enabled field in Wireless & Networks settings? That may help get functionality back. :)
