thanks for the tip Bomb that task seems to help
seems like when the memory reach under 30 megs or so you get the reboot
at least on my phone right before it reboots i'm down to 26 or so megs free

Just so everyone knows my experience with the new version, yerderday it was perfect untill I fixed permissions, then the rebooting started, but I rewiped cache and dalvik and reflashed the rom, WITHOUT fixing permissions and voila. Runs perfect. Hopefully you guys and try that until the next update

Curious... for what reason did you fix permissions?

Only reason was I usuallly go right back to cwm after a new rom/update ect and fix permissions just in case so I don't have to do it later. and yesterday I had forgot and had the new version for a couple of hours before I had done it. So after I did, I was mad at myself, But like I said it's all good now. :-)

5)sd card read speed increase
6)system and ui tweaks
and possibly more

Thanks for clarifying why you ran it. I always do what you do and run fix permissions right after I flash a rom. It does make a lot of sense. I am sorry that you had trouble but I thank you for letting me know so I can avoid the problem. :)

Apollo just wondering if its easy to switch the splash screen manually? I heard you were going to change it to something else. Not trying to complain, wanted to keep the phone rated G as much as possible for reasons. (Great work by the way.)

no the splash image is located inside the boot img so its impossible to do if you dont know what your doing if need be ill use something different from "cut of thier limbs"

well im getting the sony walkman got the xperia launcher i found a newer one so ima check it out maybe include it and theme it got the bravia engine and timescape(if you guys want it let me know) wonder if theres anything else i can grab from sony :D
 
I really appreciate it, the original android one was cool. I'm going to flash this rom on the wifes phone since its so stable. She is getting tired of all the reboots with the stock rom. All I'll hear is complaining about the splash screen being so dark. (My suggestion would be to use a sony splash screen since the rom is sony'ed out.)
 
Whats bravia? I dont personaly need timescape but i can delete it. Can you do like a built in birdbar type thing so we can use the notification bar in a full screen game
 
Dont worry guys ill be pimping my ROM out with tons of fun features just got the walkman thanks to downthemachine ill do a sony splash screen :D ilike the idea
 
has any one had a problem wit restarts i have gone from none on the stock deodexed b08c
to two in two days just wondering if i am the only one

Iv had one restart but im pretty sure it was my fault but other than that no and i think it has somethin to do with how i flashed the rom if you look a couple pages back youll find my post with the steps i did
