Great news on the laptop. What are you getting?

Unitology v1.0b is running great. I haven't had any problems using it normally over the weekend. You should feel very proud of yourself for the great work you've done.

Besides having another electronic piece of equipment to maintain, it should help tremendously with your development work. First thing to get is a portable USB hard drive to keep a backup of everything. I always buy two at a time so I don't trust my backups to a single device. I'm picky enough about backups to send one every few months to my ex-wife and still good friend who lives 2,000 miles away. That way my data survives when Mt. Baker blows it's top and I'm buried alive with my computers and smartphone. Seriously, with all of the effort you've put into development, you certainly don't want to loose the work. What model Acer are you getting? What OS will you run?

Back on topic, I had a great experience configuring a Galaxy Prevail to use a 16GB class 10 SC card as virtual memory and swap file. Whew, what a steep learning curve but in the end, my friend has a Prevail with CTMod 3.68 with the Koumo kernel. She's liking it. While I was working on that project, I kept my Warp next to me and used it all weekend without any trouble whatsoever. I believe you have a solid ROM on your hands and for those with problems, it would behoove them to drop back to Odin's return to stock and flash this ROM from there. That's not quite what I did but it is close. I had flashed v1.0b after another ROM that was based on stockB08c and I had a few problems right after flashing. I went back to stockB08 and flashed Unitology v1.0B over that and haven't had a lick of trouble since.

I am going to flash another ROM to test now unless you need more testing of this ROM by me. Let me know quick if you do and I'll be happy to delay the other. Please let me know when you have another ready to test. I'll keep following this thread and helping those who need it if I can. I'll come back to Unitology later. It's a great ROM.

As for the model im unsure im going to dual-boot windows 7 and ubuntu linux :D as for testing it wont be ready for a bit as i just got a promotion to guide on the Site so i definitely have my hands full but will manage all my work smart :D

The other prject has yet to begin i have just sent 158 dollars and the new phone is on its way :D i woukd like to inform you guys that the LG Spectrum community is going to see the blue version of Unitology

So you'll have another cell service with the LG Spectrum? I guess you'd have to in order to develop? Enlighten the masses, please. :)

the LG Spectrum is on the Verizon 4G LTE plan and i do NOT have the money to afford that at the moment however it will remain unactivated unless i flash boost mobile to it (which i will probably do) and leave my Warp to my dad for tethering i will however continue to dev on the Warp i have no intentions of leaving you guys :D also the spectrum is expecting an official ICS update soon which can benefit my ROM A LOT!!!
 
Hey i flashed this today, and no data, cant sign in and the library wifi blocked all things google so it wont allow me to sign in at all
 
If you experience data problems that most likely due to network errors and the such please post if the reflash has fixed or not and i will help you further
 
You know.... I'm gonna say something here because our Warp peeps are awesome and I need to vent it. I went over to the LG Spectrum forum that announced our main man Apollo as a dev and couldn't believe the punk azz people over there that were whining about him coming over THERE to help THEM!. Now I'll also say that 95% of the people there were nice and welcoming so I don't speak for them. The 5% though, wow! Amazing how people declare a right to their opinion, however, dont declare the right to use their brains before they vomit said opinions. How in the hell can having more devs be a bad thing?! Dude was just asking for donations (status quo) to get Apollo the handset and that's all it took to get the jerks out with their mouths crying that they should get the existing devs to team up (they already are lol) like they own their time and lives. Maybe the devs DON'T wanna work together. Who are they to determine how a dev, well, devs?! The kicker was one guy said they have crappy roms based off stock so why bring in another dev. LMAO I'll put a thousand dollars on the fact that those same people will be secretly downloading Apollos finished work after not paying a dime but sure giving their two cents in opinion. I feel sorry for the guy that recruited Apollo if he has to deal with that all the time. Somebody even complained that they were gonna have to wait a week or two for another stock Rom even though Apollo had twice replied that there are tweaks to performance and ui and its not just theming. Good luck Apollo, sounds like you're gonna need it. Lol Just always know we'll always give you safe haven here with its lowly warpers hahaha

Vent all you want. You aren't being mean to anyone and I appreciate your sentiments. Assholes are everywhere. Do you remember any of the good things that were said by the 95% that you can relay to us here?

Pretty much all were accommodating and were happy to donate. Upon looking at the thread again to answer your question I should correct myself and maybe put it on one person being a negative nelly. That person just really got under my skin with their comments and although I might be wrong, that person probably doesn't contribute anything but opinions
 
I can say this admn81 has stood up and even told me not to worry about that guy I'm not worried about him others seemed interested in what i can bring to the table if he uses it so be it
