So far iv only had a few issues. had the usual no shortcut to home page, bat seems to die fast but may just be that i need to redo stats so ill update about that tonight or tomarrow, i downloaded and use a custom notification sound but sometimes it dissapears from the audio list and doesnt play the sound but when i go into the system media etc its there with correct perms it just doesnt play or allow me to reselect intill i reboot. And while running at 1.8 with dms alien kernal last night i wasnt able to have wifi on and still text actualy i should say that wifi wouldnt work and i was having an issue recieving texts
 
Ive had a few reports of fast battery drain within the first few days of the update but then goes to normal after a bit.

As for the sounds are you adding them to system/media/?

I havnt had text or wifi issues at 1.8ghz. Maybe see if you can duplicate it (maybe at a different location)
 
Yes i added only one and set correct perms and it worked but sometimes it just doesnt play or come up under the sound lists unless im in root ex.

On a side note what do i delete to get rid of my tb backups to start it fresh and i also need to use my roomates pc to organize and clear out my sd card and reformat that may help when it needs to read off the card. And i cant seem to get over a 4300 on benchmark even at 1.8 with the same governs you have default

Thats a bit strange.

If your having issues id copy anything you need on your sd to the computer then do a factory data reset then put stuff back on sd after reformat it
 
For some reason it wont let me idk but if u can get tubemate app and click desktop mode I think u can also download it. I tryed to but put it as for mobile but it wont it let me sorry
 
Just wanted to let you guys know im still checking in but life is a bit crazy right now so havnt had time to work on the phone.
 
Lol whats a social life. My truck is dead and im trying to get it fixed and still need to finish xmas stuff up.
 
Lmfao idk you said life is crazy lol I assumed girlfriend problems or families idk lol.... I had that problem b4 you what I did I quit my job junked my car and got me a ps3 wit that money problems solved lol
 
I'm having audio issues still, using either Pandora or Winamp or anything playing mp3s as soon as the phone kickstand screen goes off sound becomes static and phone won't wake up... I did a fresh install and it worked fine until a couple reboots later... I didn't change anything just to see if it would keep working but it started doing this again and I don't know what to do or where to look
 
Thats strange im not sure what would cause that. I use the mp3 player i included in the rom and pandora a lot with no issues. (In fact for 6.5hours today while working on my truck)

Maybe start fresh again but dont install winamp and see if its still happens.

When i have more free time ill be glad to try to help more in depth.
 
So this is the craziest thing i have ever seen. I plugged my phone to charge, and it vibrated for about 30 seconds. I could do everything normal. Such as text and scroll. Just weird
 
my little girl got ahold of my phone and set a pic from the gallery as my wallpaper "lost my alien" I'm still running alien warp with alien ker; cant seen to get it back the only option with wallpaper is gallery does anybody know?

to everyone having issues, please update to alien kernel 3.0 as it is the most stable version available. If you still have issues, message me as tigatron is unable to help right now. I just talked to him, hes just got alot going on right now
