Welcome to the new age of Gingerbread!!
Gingerbread? WTF? Yes I know everyone wants ICS&JB but they have not had any of this kicka$$ gingerbread yet.

I have been in my kitchen cooking up something special for yall OG users. Until now you had a difficult choice to make. Use gingerbread to have full function of your OG or use ICS/JB and have the looks but lose some features. Now this is not just another themed out gingerbread rom trying to be ICS/JB. This is a complete rework of GB with many features found in ICS/JB back ported. I did not create this rom but I did merge the source code with multiple OG device trees to get it working. The real credit goes to SquadZone!! These guys are awesome and have done a super job with this. So for everything that works thank them and for everything that is broken blame me.

This rom has TONS of customizations. i mean a complete overload. its insane.

Some Customizations done by me for zte warp
  • DM47021 Volume increase hack
  • Web: Accelerated Scrolling
  • Web: WTF Acceleration
  • Web: Enabled GIF support
  • Web: Smooth Scrolling
  • MMS Auto Retrieval for Gingerbread
  • Switched to libjpeg-turbo. "faster rendering"

So Here it is. The First EVER AOSP Gingerbread Rom for Warp.

INSTRCTIONS
INSTALL WITH TWRP, IF YOU DO NOT. YOU WILL GET ERROR: STATUS 7
Wipe System > factory reset > install > reboot

PHONE WILL FC ON THE VERY FIRST BOOT BECAUSE RIL HASNT COME UP YET.

OMFG!!!! This is SICK! Way cooler than JB!

Edit: I got so used to seeing Play Store, I over looked "Market". LOL
Edit: Well, this is changing my mind about a new phone (I think). I still may go Warp 4g, and give this to my wife. But I gotta play with this for a while. Kuddo's DM!!!! :)

Contacts. Gapps will sync them up. Then hit the menu.button in contacts. Display options. And show all contacts

Anyone who wants to try this still on CWM? Try this. I modified the install script to properly handle both TWRP and CWM and need a tester.

I make no guarantees, though! Try it at your own risk.
 
I've been trying to use another theme, but it won't stick. I can only use the 2 in the menu. Any suggestions?, If so, anybody got any cool themes?
Also, "Additional system updates " force closes all the time. Is that just not working right now?
Great new rom though. I have it pretty much tweaked the way I want it. Thanks y'all!
 
I am using this phone with wifi tether connection from my Warp 4G. This rom is frigging great. Had I got this a few months back I probably would not have made the switch. I do love my 4g though. I hope the dev's can come up with something half as good on the warp 4g as you guys have for this phone. You guys Rock.
 
I am in shock, this Rom is excellent and smooth, im still trying to get the hang of it tho, just figured out how to answer my phone calls lol. Freezes here and there but after a reboot i haven't had any issues since, i cant wait for the camera to be fixed!!! :D:D:D

Edit: The only issue that i have been coming across is that my internet is very slow, even with full bars its slow, but other than that, no complaints

We are working on the camera and final bugs as we speak

Great rom, but a stupid way to answer the phone. Yea, internet slow too, and it didn't like playing music to well either.

same here net works fine and also music plays well


and yea took me a min to figure out how to answer the calls to i dont mind i think its simpler that way
 
Finally got around to flashing this beast!!! Wow, totally awesome i must say.:D Everything works pretty good so far
Having some trouble tethering.USB, it connects ok, but has problems.Wi-Fi tether just doesnt work at all. My phone browser and play store downloads work great, sms, mms, no problem there!!! :D Really crazy how many tweaks this rom has. Need that camera DM, :p At least for the flashlight to work:) But, its a very fine piece of work. Really loving it a lot.
