Root [Boost Mobile] rom draining my battery

I installed this ROM on my phone just a few days ago and it just drains my battery so fast and my phone gets really hot

It may be running at full throttle, the kernel, jack that baby back down on the min side.

Or it may be running at the governer called performance, change the gov to
smartass/sio

The rom comes with an app similar to setcpu, Or check the settings, I'm not completely sure where it is, been a while since I flashed sugar kang!! But you need to back the kernel down from performance, its running full out all the time.
