My only issue with 5. 0. 4 is the gps won't find my location unless I use an app called gpsfix but I had the same issue with 4. 80 I can live it :-)

GPS had no trouble finding my signal even when I was on 1 bar in my girlfriends neighborhood.... dammit did I botch it again!? D:
 
Ya its doing it in halo 6 rc2 aswell so it must be where I'm at in pensacolabut on a side note rc2 is amazing I just still don't hear a difference in the earpiece volume during calls if you changed any of those settings

Hey Skinny, Quick question. I'm gonna backup (as always) but can I clear cache, and davlick and flash 6 over 5.04 ( and hopefully not lose anything? (sorry about doing the quote) ......

Yeah, there's a slight difference, I had to listen carefully to audio in 5.0.4 and HB6-RCII.... either way its tons better than it was at stock. Pensacola, Florida huh? My girlfriend went there once... its the area, I know because she had spotty gps in that place when she went on vacation 2 summers ago. Working great here in Houston, Texas, but then again this city is flooded with signal (Wi-Fi every building you walk into, full bars almost EVERYWHERE, but we kinda need it seeing how MD Anderson here is the #1 hospital for cancer treatment, not to mention the other best hospitals in the U.S. [see-->] Six Houston hospitals make 'best' list)

So its my area with great signal in most places, but not all. When I used GPS it was on 1 bar. It took about 2 minutes to lock GPS... need to speed it up. If GPS Fix helped you in your area then I'm going to implement some GPS fixes ASAP.

Its cool and yeah, but 6 will erase the system, data, and cache partitions... so yeah good think you're backing up! :D

I'd go ahead and make a backup in Titanium now... running it myself and I'm gonna keep running it since it hasn't rebooted ONCE. On top of that...


Unplugged since about 5:30 AM this morning, currently 8:42 PM Central Time, and I even had bluetooth, wifi, gps, data, autosync, and autobrightness on all at the same time then I used flashlight for about 20 minutes. Battery dropped 2% :o

You mean the bar? I think it has something to do with the toggles being at the bottom. I wanna move them up, but below the clock in place of where it says no notifications. The no notifications thing has gotta go since its pretty obvious if you don't have any notifications. Also the date in the middle at the very top since its very redundant... gonna take apart noob Rom and reverse engineer from there since that rom didn't have the thingy.

Yea the bar after pulling it down when its sliding back up.

I do like that it says the day of the week I tend to lose track lol. (I'm serious I thought it was Wednesday today.

RC-III coming up soon, theme tweaks, and hopefully fixed clear button. Taking small steps, still looking at GPS configuration... I know I'm close though. Also gotta remove the date at the very very top...

Running v6 rc1, runs very nice. For some reason with Warp I find the phone runs better after the battery is calibrated. Its like this with all the ROMs Ive tried. Not shure why, prob

Its something weird that goes on with this rom specifically, its kinda forcing you to calibrate otherwise you get great battery life when the screen is off but when its on it just runs straight down the toilet... that sort of thing didn't happen to me when I was on other roms, not sure why it does that on this one... but I know it may also have something to do with the fact that in the battery graph Android System takes up about half the battery. So its not just in your head, its an actual... issue? :confused::confused:

Still like this ROM. Its my everyday driver.
 
I'm on a roll right now, just got the second redundant date out of the status bar! Took me alot of tries:




But it finally came out how I wanted:



Now I just gotta do one last fix to the clear button, and I'll throw it into RC-IV then I'll work on the quickpanel...
 
Been pulling higher than 3000 in quadrant repeatedly. Those are nice scores skinny. Highest scores came on minmax/cfq 3023 and lionheart/cfq 3098. Smartassv2 came in sub 3k.

Awesome! What RC were you on? And that performance is gonna stay in the next few RC's since I'm working on the theming and appearance... I've kinda been neglecting it and everything has seemed cluttered to me lately.

Gimme a month or two and I bet I can blow it to 3.5k :D

EDIT: BLAH stuck in softbrick because of some mods I made to the quickpanel....
 
NEW QUICKPANEL



Moving the toggles back to the top fixed the statusbar getting stuck. Also, I made the text and indicators transparent (there was some sort of error when I tried to actually remove them the right way) so it looks more like in CM10 Jelly Bean. I just gotta recolor the icons white to match everything else.

What do y'all think so far?
