Root [Boost Mobile] [ROM] n00b (B10 based) VIII.II FULL Install 1/23/2013

Any chance you can put together a zip with just your theming? Is it just the systemui and framework.apk's? If so I can do it.
 
Perhaps flashing the white circle battery zip will bring everything back to white since you probably had everything white when you created it? I'm thinking it probably will
 
to get just my theme back, the systemUI.apk and Framework-res.apk would do it unless the themer also themed other apps. If you are wanting to take my theme to another rom, as long as it's based on b08c you woul dneed framework-res. apk, systemui.apk, and framework.jar and android policy.jar to get the toggles/power menu working in another ROM based on b08c (deodexed).

I just want to bring it back from Warpin Blue to your white, all within your Rom

I do have super build prop III included, perhaps I could pull that and make it optional vs including it. Good tip.

OC kernel, as soon as it's out and available it will be included in the ROM with voltage control if team glitch approves, but since it's still only a rumor (I know it's alive and real and more than a rumor) at least officially it's still a rumor.

You guys feel free to give the glitch team hell for holding it out until the ROM is fully tested, but I can' say I totally disagree with that approach and I want them to get all the glory for coming up with it (hostly though, I don't take credit for much on my rom anyways, I just packaged my favorite mods and ported a few things or assisted in testing)

Have you gone into "Settings" -> "About Phone" -> "Battery Use" yet? The phone's built in counter may help you or at least begin to isolate where the drain is occurring

Perfect. When I get home tonight I'll extract them and create a zip and I'll send it to you for others requesting it.

I recommend a clean install, I am not doing an update this time, too many issues, too hard to support, sorry.

Also, if you restore cache/data, you are almost guaranteed to carry over issues and screw up the install, please use titanium or something similar to backup/restore only user apps/data. You have been warned :)

When ya say build.prop mods removed does that mean super build prop altogether? BTW I'll just hold off until after the new version comes out before making the white theme zip for ya
 
I found out that playing around with mounting and unmounting /system in CWM will fix my sticky notification toggles and System Settings temporarily until the next reboot.

I would try replacing the build.prop from n00bology v1.0 and try that, it seems it has fixed all my issues and the phone really rocks. I put it up for anyone that wants to try it.:D

Yep, I love them all, some are better than others, some are so fast lol but with draw backs, the guys doing this deserve so much for doing this for everyone, it is so cool lol.......:vroam:

n00b VI (6) is uploading to dropbox as I type this, 15 minutes and counting LOL

I like the idea of using roman numerals, but I see how it gets confusing :)

I did have an update I called V.I but this will be an actual full version... I think in the future I might use small numerals for the updates and large for full versions...

anyhew, stay tuned, it won't be long now.

for now yes until I can isolate what's causing issues for the ROM, it could be other things too, just pulling back from a couple new things, I will continue to test them out... for anyone who wants the build.prop tweaks, see the thread for super build prop tweaks.
