Lol it's not an issue. .. the task killer is doing what you asked it to do. You need to open your task killer and put system tasks in a white list so it doesn't kill them!
 
Its on safe mode i dont think system tasks is bein killed ill double check and try and if that doesnt work ill clear data
 
Great Rom. Just a noob question, swapper won't mess up the hardware since its constantly writing into data will it?
 
Hey mrbobo along with that sticky brightness toggle i had a problem getting internet to work on 3g after using wifi for a night i had to reboot to get any websites to come up on 3g bht texting worked fine
 
Hey does anybody have a live wallpaper picker apk that will load with this rom? The version I have is deodexed for a different rom and won't restore
 
I don't know if this has been answered, but I can't switch to swype on my input method. It will tick the circle but when I try to type it goes straight to ICS keyboard. Any suggestion? I need swype, I'm ******ed when I have to actually tap my letters.

Try uninstalling the ics keyboard i found that anything i tried to change on it wouldnt stick but youll need to have a backup of the stock android keyboard or you wont have a keyboard at all
 
I tried uninstalling the ICS keyboard, and kept swype, but it doesen't even pop up with a keyboard when I type. Got anything else?
 
I made a backup of the ics keyboard and restored it. I've tried everything. I'm out of ideas.

Do you have a titanium backup of the stock keyboard from another rrom all you have to do is reinstall and select it in your settings if theres any issue its from not properly installing it or selecting it
 
Did you fix permissions in cwm? Also try ticking the keyboard, then reboot your phone immediately. See if it stays then.

guys, can you open a new thread to talk about keyboards please?

the stock keyboard requires files other than just the apk, I can dig in and look back to what those might be, but you can't just restore the apk, you need to also install the other associated files.

Personally I don't mind the ics keyboard as a backup, but I purchased swiftkey a while back and can't live without it so I know what it's like to get used to a keyboard and I understand the frustration.

I haven't personally seen the issue where the keyboard won't stick or install so I am not sure how you are having that issue.

I just don't want this thread to get sidetracked, please PM me if you have specific questions or want me to go back and do a compare to remember what the stock keyboard files were, I could even come up with a flashable zip to put it back if needed, let me know by PM, but again let's keep this thread on topic please :)
