Root [Boost Mobile] ROM's confirmed working for SPH-L710T

I've had this fix for awhile just never post on here will start I test everything on this device as it has drove me crazy since I've acquired it have not bricked it yet lol almost every aosp ROM will work with the exception of validus and basically all ground zero ROMs except spirit ROM aicp ROM works really well its my favorite out of the choices we have. Have not found any LP ROMs that are stable with the exception of liquid would appreciate feedback on LP ROMs that work...

i agree.
ls/lp seems to be pretty solid. thanks for the apn. flashed it. see what happens.

got this darn phone after a warranty claim, ugh!!! so with the liquidsmoth listed above do I need to use the updated kernel as well or is that just for touchwiz? also I saw someone said cm11 m10 works so all other cm11 versions will also work or is there differences?

Yes if u use cm11 m10 kernel aosp ROMs will work including all cm11 versions or if u use the kernel I posted earlier. The lp kernel I tested does not play well so far with tmodel make sure to write down or back a good APN to apply in aosp ROM of choice

I've tried those methods the only method as far as my phone has gone to work is the method I posted flash ROM,kernel,APN fix ,u will have LTE but no data have to set APN manually in settings there us like 3 settings that are off

My phone is tmodel for sprint have LTE service no problems whatsoever with the service but as I have experienced some peoples phones just act different sometimes

how do I get just the kernal from m10 to flash with other versions will it even work with other versions? that will work for nightlies too right? flash it and do a kernel backup with flashify or is there a easier way.

Best way is to flash cm m10 to do a boot backup in philz 6.48.4 and restore boot after selected ROM is flashed and if u want LTE flash the APN fix depending on your carrier and everything should work fine the kernel I posted works better in my opinion but hey to each their own

The only thing to really fix in aosp for t model on kitkat is rotation which their is a workaround just about every ROM I can get LTE and very few bugs if any on most

Any reason why CyanogenMod 11 Snapshot M10 is not listed in the OP? It is working well for me.

Links for the flash file and installation instructions.

It does need Adaptive Rotation Lock app from Playstore and an APN fix for VM/Boost models.

Thank you for the links! I'll get it added to the op soon. My laptop died a few weeks ago so I've struggled at gathering all the working ROM's and instructions from my phone. I'll get things up to date soon! Keep posting anything you find that works!

Will I flashed these along with Candy cat ROM. Strangely enough I had data but no LTE as my girlfriend just happened to send me a text. Also in Candy cat ROM there is no place to add in APN data.

I too received this phone after a warranty claim. I'd like to add that PAC-ROM (www.pac-rom.com) does run on it, albeit with the same problems mentioned in this thread (screen rotation, no signal). I got the signal back by installing Lean Kernel found here: http://galaxys3root.com/galaxy-s3-roms/liquidsmooth-rom-v3-2-for-galaxy-s3/ and applying the Virgin Mobile APN fix.

- Rotation not working right (upside down)
- flakey camera and gps
- I've had problems with disappearing apps after backing up with Titanium backup root, though I'm not sure if it's related.
Otherwise it runs beautifully
