Root [Boost Mobile] ROM's confirmed working for SPH-L710T

Are there any known kernels compatible with the t model? Im on the CM10 M10 snapshot someone posted here and it makes this phone a whole different experience however the battery seems even worse than stock which I didn't think possible.

it's very possible and here check out these kernels just rotation will be messed up http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1800576 and http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...t/kernel-tgm-hybrid-toolchain-kernel-t3017490

Does this have the same issues as ls build? Camera, and rotation???

yes and i have been testing for Team Octos as well and they have a very good rom...but Team Liquid Kanged the build setup from Team Octos, which is sad cause both roms are pretty sweet but Liquid Smooth LP wouldn't be where it's at today if not for OctOS Oct-L

I have to say, I prefer liquid. I tried octos, I just prefer liquid. That is not a reference to quality at all, just a preference. Octos is definitely a quality ROM. It may be because I was already running liquid for a bit before I tried octos, so I was more familiar with it.

true it's more about preference, but if only dev teams talked to each other and agreed for what go public especially if that one thing wasn't finished yet :/

Well one thing is that Octos is developing for the triband liquid smooth isn't. I am starting to test for octos so that's a big plus. I want to see rotating working.

About Octos. Does anyone know of a good camera for it? I use my camera for kids and am willing to deal with the loss of quality on AOSP in general but all the LP Roms seem to restart my phone if using the camera too much. And yes I know third party cams have to be used. That's what I'm referring to.

Camera51-a smarter camera is good..

I been playing around with the octos build and I like it. I might just stay here. I do like the transition affects on ls but I can live without it. Octos has the theme manager so I dig that. Ls is using layers now and I can't figure it out. I think its not fully functional for this device yet

The layers do work, but no one has made any layers that fully work on the s3. But I am back to octos now. I'm using xposed to add a few of the features I liked from liquid. Like network speed indicators in status bar. To get the date in status bar I might need to try gravitybox. I try not to use GB on custom Roms because it tends to break stuff. Also I do like the cm12 theme engine waaaay better than layers theming at this point. Layers are to new and very glitchy.

man
I am really so tired of this phone.. there is such limited support for this 710T.. its such a bad ownership choice.

I installed the octos rom but I have no radio support which is the same problem with almost every rom I try.. i also tried flashing L710TVPU0ANF4 modem but baseband remains unknown with no data or cell service.. any suggestions?

anyone?
I cant take this stock rom anymore. And the LS rom I tried has no functioning GPS among other issues.
Screw it, I'm dumping this phone. Pure unsupported garbage.

Octos has a dev team working on this phone now. Wicked x is fully functional and well supported. I would try that. GPS, rotation and Camera all work.

Just make a backup of liquid, restore your tw backup, calibrate compass then restore back to LS. GPS fixed.

Wicked X regular and bare bones still have rotation issue when I flash them. It only goes away when I flash updated KT kernel. I'm only mentioning because I keep seeming to read that these roms don't have the rotation issue out the gate but they do for me for some reason. And that updated KT kernel seems to give me shaky battery life no matter which settings I use. I get better on stock somehow Which sucks.

what we mean is that the kernel fixes rotation on those roms...not that the rotations problem doesn't exist in those roms....and because there isn't a Kernel fix for AOSP roms...

I'd like to add if you take the OA3 baseband update you'll be fine flashing these same ROMs and kernel fix for the ones that need it.I'm on that baseband now and I'm good to go.[emoji106] [emoji106] [emoji106]

Is that the most recent update?
