Root [Boost Mobile] UOT Kitchen Help

Hi everyone, I just got my feet wet in the UOT kitchen this week for my first time ever!! I was pretty impressed at what i was able to do with it, however I'm having a small issue. Im running NOOB ROM (LOVE IT). I was trying to get my status bar clear. ...ALL was sucessfull except now im having a problem while im in an aplication (seems to be mainly browsers and facebook, and i cant see all my status bar.... I'm going to post some pics so you can see what im talking about. (The last pic is what im having issues with.) Any one have an idea what portion in UOT kitchen will correct this? Perhaps this option is too specific for the kitchen? Anyway any thoughts would be great, but I love the clear status bar enough to deal with these issues if there is no resolve. THANKS IN ADVANCE for looking :)

That's the only problem with having a completely transparent status bar... there's not much that I know of that you can do other than darken the bar a little to give it a little extra definition... It would be easier to do if you did it manually

What Jet2x said would be better but if you didn't want a darker status bar and wanted to keep the full transparency then you could just use UOT to change the text color of the clock and a few other things like signal bars to a light/medium grey while keeping it fully transparent.

Pretty nice and clean theme you have there as well sir! Good Job

I figured that would have been the best solution, however i was having a really hard time figuring out how to do that myself. I see there are forums that walk you through this, but all of them give little different advice and all seemed to fly miles over my head. I dont have a internet connection at my house and use a small aspire notebook and am honestly, not even 100% sure what software to be using to look with in the files, and i cant be 100% certain which files to alter and how to alter them. I downloaded WinRar and thats what im using currently. any advice to try this on my own? in most aps my status bar is a light grey and i can see all the icons.

I agree :D it looks nice one thing a lot of people do is completely saturate themes with color and its get to bright this however is not its nice and clean as for the status bar id say just increase the transparency a bit :D
Cheers!

Thanks guys :) and good thought on tweaking the colors a bit so maybe its not white on white. I did consider that, but i just like the white bars so much i opted against. Maybe i could just make them a clean grey color or something. so they stand out better in my boat browser:) let me tinker...
I appreciate the thoughts

n00b II is coming soon and will have a semi transparent status bar, if you want to try it out, I can email you the statusbar png.

Thanks Mr. Bobo. Im on fully transparent right now, and I switched my two apps that were causing me issues (boat browser to Opera and facebook app to friendcaster) seems both these apps use a black status bar regardless of what the phone setttings are, so it eliminated the issues of not being able to see my icons when using the aps. Plus each app switched cut a couple MB from my internal memory. So Im happy as pie now. I WILL flash your updated rom tho when its ready for the hungry public!!!
