Installation Instructions:

ALWAYS MAKE A CWM BACKUP!!!

1. Download it HERE
2. Make a Nandroid backup if you haven't already
3. Copy VilanoROM_V3.zip to you sdcard
4. Reboot into recovery
5. Do a factory/data reset & clear cache
6. Under advanced select clear dalvik-cache
7. go to select .zip from sdcard and select the VilanoROM_V3.zip & confirm install
8. Wait for the ROM to install
9. Once installation is complete (before you reboot), go to advanced, select "fix permissions"
10. Once "fix permissions" finishes, select reboot system now (first boot might take a good minute)

**11. Once phone reboots (may bootloop once before it does, don't sweat it it's ok) if you run into any FC issues, i.e. camera, reboot to recovery, go to advanced and select "fix permissions", once its done reboot. So before you post with bugs, try this step and see if it fixes your issue first.

**Known Bugs;
- No battery icon when hooked to charger (will iron that part of theme out in future update)

If you have force close issues with launcher7 do the following;

fix, download this paste it into your system/lib folder and set permissions to match "liba2dp.so", reboot and all should be good. Thanx go out to "esparks004" for testing and verifying the fix.

When we have a good stable OC kernel I may, but as it is now to many issues for me, though the existing OC kernel may be compatible I dunno never tried it.

Huh? Say again....
If you're askin how to flash Shin's OC kernel to my ROM, you'll have to get with him on that, & though his ROM & mine are similar I can't say for sure it'll work.

The OC is functional, but I still say it is not ready for prime time until the bugs (wifi, 3G signal, and Bluetooth) are worked out. OCing is nice but I think its value is overstated. If I did an intial release I would put it out with the ROM being OC'ed and work my way into it. It's the smart move...

also atm shins oc'd kernal is the best right now idk if its still the basic oc kernal or if its been edited it's decent it has a few connectivity bugs wifi/bluetooth/3g other than that it's alright im hoping shin releases and non-oc version of his rom soon but i also like the way this roms looking will have to give it a go

reposted download link, this time using Hroark13's "stock based rom installer" template, not sure what I got wrong on my earlier attempt but hopefully I got it this time, sorry for the frustration. Worked out a little anyway, gave me a chance to look at it again and shave some fat from it. Download and enjoy, looking forward to your feedback.

You might have to clear data/factory reset then clear dalvik cache.

My rom has way different symlinks and permissions then stock. Other rom's don't play nice when installed over mine
