Root [Boost Mobile] Wi-Fi question

I'm having this weird issue, the the wi-fi showed connected, but is not working.
Anyone else has have this issue before???
 
Yes i have had this issue, it is usually not the device end, but the Wifi end.

Usually it's something to do with an authentication problem.

I would try restarting your router to try and fix it, if that doesn't work, perform a hard reboot on the device by removing the battery and putting it back in and restarting.

Yes on noob ctmod alienwarp and im sure other roms as well theres an ongoing search for the solution its ben still undetermined if its a rom or kernal issue i think kernal personaly. You can turn wifi on in the settings menu reboot and itll work fine then cycle your brightness toggles fast or they will lock up i know its not the answer you want but its a temp solution i get to reboot my phone real gast i forgot to cycle my brightness lol

Ive been working on this a ton.
If i remove the notification toggles the issue goes away. So im confident its a conflict with that. The fun part is im still trying to find a way to remedy the issue with the toggles in place.

Its been determined that it is a rom issue

Ive tested my findings on noob vi, Wp7, Tweak Nation, Alienwarp
(I didnt try ctmod because it lags bad on my phone)

All have the wifi issue. I pull all the stuff for the notification toggles and poof no more wifi issue.

I've never had an issue with wifi except for the original OCs unless I am beta testing a fresh scratch ROM. Which I still have yet to be able to do for you. Way too much going on in my neck of the woods to lose my phone for the day.

Theres a bunch of reports. Most of the roms that have the notification toggles have at least one report.

Its all good im pulling all the beta links for my rom atm because of this issue.
Im rebuilding my rom from the core and trying different tweaks. If all goes well with the version i have on my phone right now ill be pushing a new beta within the next day to have others test it.
