Root [Boost Mobile] Working ROMS/MODS/KERNELS/MODEMS/ECT for the Boost S3

If it's stuck saying Samsung as your search the Google play store for app called "Refresh Customization.". It will reset your phone so make sure anything important is backed up.
 
That's strange. Do you see a baseband in "about device?" Is wifi working? Do you have the Sph-L710 or Sph-L710T?
 
Hmm well even thing checks out then I wonder why that app and dialer code didn't work. Maybe try the NJ2 Sprint TAR? I know some other users here have. Otherwise I'm out of ideas sorry.
 
Actually I do have another idea... You could try flashing a different ROM like Wicked X. Maybe that will fix it. You probably can't update your PRL or Profile because it says Samsung. But that's just speculation.
 
Was wondering if anyone has this happening. Xposed keeps accumulating a lot of data. I have to install framework and then let it reboot like 3 times to get rid of it. It will over 2 weeks get up to like 2 gigs of data. Then I click install framework and reboot a few times and the data is gone. What could all that data be?
 
Seems to me s3 is a dead forum and no more mods or roms will be coming to our phones :(

Bro, the Roms are flowing. All the lollipop Roms now have the camera fixed and are updated to 5.1.1.
Aicp, liquid smooth, octosL, resurrection remix, and an alpha build of slimLP. I'm probably forgetting some. Oh yeah, also official cm12.1 nightlies. So, not dead!

I was speaking of this great thread biker started. That once used to be flooding with everything from everyone seems this forum was dead.... no biggy. I tried all those. Not much on the lp's 5.... no worries top of the day to ya..

Yeah I hear ya, pretty dead in the VM side too. I think its from the forums shuffling around.
But you were saying no more Roms, so I was just letting you know that's not the case. LP Roms are all pretty stable. Android is progressing. Not like they were gonna keep making KitKat Roms (except touchwiz). Custom Roms stay on the cutting edge, and that's lollipop! I've been hopping around trying them out, keep coming back to aicp.
All the mods have been, well, modded already. Theres not much left to mod on this little trooper of a phone. People are still buying it though, and will keep buying it. On the mvno's (boost and virgin) its still the best bang for your buck. Everything else in its price range is pretty dismal.
Keepin it alive brother!

yus sir for sure I guess I got spoiled seeing of those roms flooding in I was like a kid on christmas and well, I was just not seeing any new roms other than lolie Peas and Qu's lol.. I have tried near bout all of them and well that wicked v2.2 s5 exp seems to be one of my faves other than the wicked sensations But means since you said it was a security flaw of some sort I left it alone :( I guess thats why it was so easy for me to mod those files lmao...
 
What's up fellas? They pretty much boogered up our section when they threw everything together. It's a mess in here. Thankfully XDA has their Sprint S3 section and 99.9% of the ROMs and mods will work on the Boost and VM variants.

I sure miss all the action in here but it is what it is. All the action for this device is either over on XDA or Google+.

This is the 1st time I've been in here in weeks guys. It's dead. Who wants to dig through all the carriers to find stuff for your phone? Not me. I'll be over at XDA if anyone is looking for me.

Best Buy has the Sprint LG G2 on sale for $150, so I bought one and activated it on Boost Mobile. Really nice phone. Now I can use my old S3 to flash some Roms again. My USB port has been bad for a long time. The last time I used ODIN was to install the Kitkat OTA. Been using spare batteries and wall chargers. But it keeps plugging away. I have to have a reliable phone for work so I have been nervous about the Lollipop Roms without the ODIN option. Not so much now. Sorry they combined all these forums but there is still a lot of Dev work happening out there. This is a good group of folks that we have here.

WHY IS THIS ONLY FOR NEW CUSTOMERS AND NOT US THAT HAS BEEN THROUGH THICK AND THIN WITH THIS COMPANY. THIS JUST PLAIN SUCKS HOW THEY GOING TO MAKE US RIDE THE BACK BURNER WHILE THE NEW GUYS ARE GETTING THE ROYAL TREATMENTS.... IM CHANGING MY SERVICE AT THE END OF THIS MONTH...
