Yeah, thats one thing I used and I'll miss...

this s5 has a SIM card, that does mean we can switch to GSM networks if we ever decide to without having to buy a new phone, right?

I have been enjoying the previous build 5-13 I think. Nice and smooth. My only problem is I can't get voice prompts in Google navigation. Haven't come across any other bugs.

Also this s5 takes and comes with a SIM card, so I can switch providers in the future...

I'll be giving the s3 to my wife so I'll still be active in here, only quite a bit less... this is the best forum I've ever been in so I can't leave.

Ps. Already rooted, twrp, hotspot, and made a backup... be testing a rom or two this weekend and will be waiting for MOAR....

I was wondering if it would come with a sim card I might look into that I'm going to go to boost and ask if I can get just a sim card because if that's the case we don't have to buy boost branded phones

Spoke too soon. Can't get any Gps luck on this build. Otherwise it's awesome.

I have no problems getting a lock just not getting voice prompts. I even tried Maps 7.6, pico instead of the newer google, latest text to speach. Who knows. Waze works, google now talks to me, I don't get it.

On the build you are on I had no problems getting a lock. Just on the newest. Maybe it's a conflict with having taken the ND8 ota. I don't know. When I tried the build you're on I was still on MK5.

Bumping the free version to Pro is actually pretty simple: once the launcher is installed, head into Preferences > About GO Launcher EX > Enter Activation code "appsales" or "appszoom." Boom, you're done.

Thanks biker worked like a charm
 
made the jump to the note 3. i made out like a fat cat 32gb internal. 3gb ram huge screen. hate to leave the s3 forum but who wouldnt i played with the note for like 5 mins and new it was a good trade i noticed theres a wicked rom. thats gonna be my first stop. see you guys around.

What carrier do you have now and yeah you got a steal of a deal especially if you didn't pay any money just a flat trade
I always wished boost would get a note since the first one
 
There's also the conquest: singularity rom added yesterday. But I'm sure you saw the thread a few lines down. ;) Going to be flashing it shortly to check it out.

Yep. Saw it. Also saw that Boost support was experimental and it hasn't been tested yet. Let me know how it goes and how well it runs. If it's all good I'll add it. :):thumbup:
 
So, what's this ND8 I keep reading about? Is that what includes Knox on it? I'm confused because now reading bout this Tribute ROM I see it mentioning "no Knox"... but I thought it was already part of the bootloader?

It means there are no knox apps. The ND8 bootloader does have knox and is required. :(

I been running the Conquest ROM for two days. It is basically the Sprint ND8 ROM with some bloat removed and some moonknightus tweaks installed. Right now he is in the process of adding some additional quick settings toggles ( i.e. flashlight and Mobile Data).

One really cool thing about the ROM is that during the initial install the script asks if you are on Sprint, Boost or Virgin Mobile and then loads the APNs accordingly (i.e. it's a little more NOOB proof).

Caution... You MUST be on ND8 or higher bootloader BEFORE you flash Conquest.
