Root [Boost Mobile] Working ROMS/MODS/KERNELS/MODEMS/ECT for the Boost S3

I have been running Conquest Singularity for over a month so yesterday I switched to AICP 10-01 build for a little change. Runs great so far.

Just now I flashed the newest DKP kernel from 10-02. Trying out a new Governor called Tierservative. I am going to stay with AICP for a little while.
 
Possibly the final release candidate for AICP out today until Lollypop gets figured out.

Hi, I am on conquest singularity. I miss not having the ribbon on top when I open the notification Drawer. That usually has wifi, sound, gps, Bluetooth, etc. I'm not talking the quick settings but the ribbon that goes along the top. It's customizable on other roms but doesn't seem like it's available on conquest. I have also checked xposed installer and can't find anything like it, anyone have any ideas? Thanks

If you want it then you're probably gonna have to switch ROMs. As far as I know there is no way to add it to the ROM without the Dev actually building it in.

I'm not saying there isn't a mod that won't do what you ask. I just don't know of one. If there is a mod that'll make it happen it'll sure surprise the heck out of me.
 
Could try play store n search quick settings n choose to ur liking. Not sure if it will work with your rom cause I'm quite settled with hyper drive which has what ur looking for.

I also agree like wet biker said a developer if requested in enough pending on how many people would like that option they may add it in.

Thanks for the responses, I did find a app on the play store that did allow me to setup a quick ribbon in the notification area, actually you can create multiple ribbons, it's kinda cool. It's called 1 tap quick bar.

Cool. See, I didn't even know there was an app out there that would do that. I never needed it so I never looked for it specifically but there are tons of apps on Play that add all kinds of features to a ROM. All you need to do is take some time and do a little research. I'm glad you were able to find what you were looking for. Also, thanks for sharing your findings. Another member may need the app in the future. :thumbup: :)
 
Another app that I used to use in gingerbread that does the same thing is called notification toggles.

You got to love Android customization.

Glad I was able to assist u to it. Wet biker is always great at picking things out better than me . I'm still in training with my stinking green horns lol ......

That's the name I was trying to advise dang namit green horns got in my way keep blinding me can't see these things on lol:D

LOL! Hey bro, at least you can admit you make mistakes and don't know it all. I respect that. What gets my goat are the people who have only been doing this for a few months and think they know it all. Just a small amount of humility can go a long way in my book. Thankfully you keep an open mind and are always trying to learn something new while helping others along the way when you can. :thumbup::thumbup:

I seek no shame at the mess's I make. I take any and all credit for honest mistakes. We all learn by being wrong! that's why we all are here, live n learn and never forget who got u here along the way. U got my word bro ! There's never dishonor in respect and learning when to admit when ur wrong.

Also wyelkins and mydian I believe they've been here since the start of this forum and I know for sure since the start of this thread they're always watching over like Batman in Gotham lol
 
We've all been there at one time.
I was there way back in the s2 days, so I've learned a ton from people on here, and trust me when I say I was probably the most annoying greenhorn and newbie around, to the point of asking, asking avid more asking, even re-asking just so I made sure I got it right. Once your root, unroot, reroot, add mods, etc you become quite proficiant at it all, so much so you can then give back to the community what "you" have learned and pass on the torch so to speak :).

I've done the s2, s3, and I'm on the s4 now and about ready to root it as well.

I can see wb and some others rolling their eyes and shaking the heads saying, it's about time you rooted that s4 lol.

I have an s4 but I always frequent here looking, reading, abs occasionally inputting heh.

It's my way of sharing respects over other members that has helped me a great deal when I needed most. he has gone out on the limb for me many of times.

words like that only shed's the green from my horn's though they may appear devilish at time's let's not be fooled by the truth over the facts that I'am just an average guy with allot of time on his hands of his misfortunes and is trying to help others along the way as everyone has for me!!

So, I was looking for an update to Philz Touch since it has been a while. However, it seems that one of the links I had been reading has said that the creator gave up on working on it more. So with that in mind, would there be someone taking over? or a new recovery app that would take over where this one left off?

Only option is to just live with your current philz recovery or use clockworkmod recovery. And your recovery isn't an app.
 
Cm, philz, and twrp are the most common and I think the only recoveries out there if I'm not mistaken.

Philz is discontinued support but still works so it's OK to use it.

If not then you have cm which is non touch, and twrp which is touch. Twrp is the newer of the two.
