Root [Boost Mobile] Working ROMS/MODS/KERNELS/MODEMS/ECT for the Boost S3

I remember my Warp ZTE n860 had a loose solder joint to the male end of the mini plug that is in the phone and it pried loose creating a small short it smoked for a few seconds and I hurried and unplugged it in time and pulled the battery and I open it up to see a mess but I was able to clean it and resolder it back on and super glued the crap out of it.. problem resolved.
now if I would have went to bed that night. it would have caught fire for sure...
my samsung prevail the first one that came out was brand new and it had all original parts to it and it caught small fire..
on my laptop. again if I went to bed it would have been nasty..
another wards not just samsung s3 or s4

I switched to Nova Prime Launcher, which I have not used in a year. The universe is back in alignment.

I really like ADW EX but it has not had an update since the Jurassic period.

Google will probably fix this glitch in their launcher soon enough. I like the swipe right to get the Now screen.

Well, since the white app drawer is the way it is supposed to be and I hate it I had to find a work a round. Nova launcher Prime is nice. I especially like the vertical scroll in the app drawer. But, I miss the swipe right integration with Google Now.

So, I went back to Google Experience Launcher and installed GEL settings. This is an Xposed module that adds a lot of extra functions to the launcher.

It has been a while since I looked at this since I try to minimize my use of Xposed modules. It has gotten a lot more robust since I last looked at it.

Anyway, sure enough there are already options to choose the colors in the app drawer. I went back to black and I am happy again.
 
I tried the lollipop white app drawer option in Nova and uh.. yeah... yuck. Not very AMOLED screen friendly. You could have assigned a gesture in Nova to open Google Now, although it would be a change you'd have to get used to. I use swipe up.
 
not sure but I did find out that google is going to take away the cap locks near future.
lmao they claim it will help improve the quality of the message boards. Right!
If they do that than what stops them from cussing lmao... seems to be a control war..
My brand new asus touch screen laptop has no cd rom on it and the battery which I would have seen was not removable upon purchase this all seems to be forcing consumers to buy more and save less...

It also i stalled the Euphoria 5.0.2 ver for gal s3 L710 worked great with minimal problems I really would like to use that Euphoria as a daily driver if the wireless tether worked on it which I'm sure there is a work around which I haven't found yet but I'm okay with that no biggy that thing is awesome I must say it is about the closest rom I have seen come to being lollipop yet

Wow! Looks like I've missed quite a bit in the forum lately. Nice to see the section and this thread active again. Thanks for the kind words too bro. I just like paying forward the help that was given to me when i needed it. People helping each other out is what it's all about man. :-)
 
I have some questions for anyone I reall appreciate it much if anyone can help me.
Im running wicked sensations this rom is near bullet proof n stable.
I been playing around with all of the files doing some modding of my own.
it used to be I had to use a program to access the files to mod the png and xml files then all of a sudden
I was able to just unzip files like zip files change whatever I wanted and use es explorer and just swap the framework.res.apk out and replace it with another same thing with all of the files but now all of a sudden I can't do this anymore. Strange...
anyone know how I can just mod these files with out a bunch of chaos of force close and having to reinstalling these roms..
I also took notice that if you mod the bootanimation.zip with the png files the wrong size will cause your phone to go black but you can still click on things lmao..... just cant see what your clicking on and sometimes it causes bootloops... but then if I turn the phone sideways it turns the screen back 0n..

I have googled my brains out for the past 5 months on this.
xda and here as well.
I just keep coming up with outdated apps or they don't work or wrong conception of how to just get rid of all of the security over these files for editing and then secure them once after I get this rom the way I like it far as looks wise. I like how stable it is, it's just to much blue for me and " there are some things I want to change as for I have a whole new rom idea in mind :)"
I know everyone is gonna love this one... for sure.... I promise..
Sure wish there was someone that could point me in the right direction the payoff is great once this bad boy hits the air... I will be using the backbone of wicked sensations 5.0 jb 4.2 not X.
Course I would never take credit for anything other than the mods I have created. This also helps me learn how everything works as well.

An easy way to get rid if colors and stuff is to use an app called fonter. You can change colors and fonts for each app and even does system ui and everything, awsome app.

I had a similar problem and gravity box was the problem, uninstalled and all was good. Sometimes other things conflict in what you are trying to do.
 
I had formated my whole phone reinstalled philz from round same time period. I also tried updating to the latest ver of philz it said md5 checksum error lol..
So i went back to 6.25 works great!
My main targets of interests are
Framework res
Mms.
Systemui
LatinIME
Phone
Settings
The rest im sure i can figure out.

Not many ppl lining up for jellybean Roms. The massive security holes are enough to make you cringe. Google doesn't even update the security in webview for 4.2 anymore.

oh man that sucks.....
could this be the reason to why I'am having problems of having once being able to mod my rom as to now I don't ? has anyone released a security patch for it?
in this case as to where this rom seems to be the only rom that seems to run the best on my phone besides the stock ver. What could be my better or best of interests of switching to?
