So..... when is the "Super" happening. Mr. Bobo has made the update a good Rom. Are we dead? I have looked into every forum concerning the Warp, and zilch. We're so anxious, and looking forward to something. And I know it takes time. We're all just chompin at the bit. The Sequent looks like it pretty much sucks. I know it's the ram issue.....................just wondering.:confused:
Don't hate, I just loved it when (You guy's) were blasting out roms left and right. It was exciting and fun!
 
So is that the consensus of the Sequent? Nothing bugs me more on a phone than RAM issues and I will NOT buy that thing if it has them.

Even though it looks really nice I'm staying away from the LG Venus too because of LG locking the bootloader. They're having issues just getting CWM on it. No ROM's without a custom recovery. I think I might pony up for the Galaxy S2 since it's been around awhile and has CM10. That phone will be forever known as the closest to perfect Boost can get. Hell, many of the big carriers STILL sale it.

Actually the Sequent is looking pretty hot right now....new OTA update for them yesterday helps with the RAM issue, so I've read, CM10 Beta has been released unofficially, and Shin is making great strides with his ROM as well. All of the things may very well have an effect on what comes down the pipe to us OG Warp users. It is just a wait and see game really. We still have many great Devs here working hard. Right now there just isn't a lot more that can be done with Gingerbread. That is why everyone is working hard at getting us something bigger and better. In the very beginning it was much as it is now, things came slowly and we were excited to have them. Then months to almost a year down the line things really blew up and we had ROMs released left and right with updates almost daily at some points. Things will not get back to that point until new ground is broken.

Currently I am doing research on other devices myself. Can't decide between the S II and the Sequent yet. While that may be any easy decision for some I am struggling with what I know will be the multitude of possibilities for the Sequent it very well could blow up just like the OG Warp did.
 
Noooooooo. The reason we can't get much further on (our) warp is the Ram issue. Not the Sequent. Sorry. From what I understand, the reason we cant do ICS and such is the ram.... Sorry for the confusion. And believe me, I'm not dissing any of our dev's or the people who help get this thing out. I know everybody has REAL jobs.
Just been quiet, all I'm sayin. I love you guy's! Fo shizzle!
And I gotta ask, I was looking around Monday on different forums. Did Hoark, and Starscream get banned from AF, and why?
Again.................just askin. You can PM me and answer. Just wondering.

Poor old Orphan, he's worried about Daddy not havin any new roms to put on mommy and daddy's phone. :(
That's my boy. (about 8 years ago. He's old and grey now) 14 yrs. old.
 
We need a lot of info added!!:thumb: Rom's themes for those roms etc.:rolleyes:

I am constantly looking at different forums and other sites to help out. Seems like our little Warp is the Bastard child. I guess the public really doesn't realize how much potential this phone has. I was blown away, as well as some of my "Iphone" friends, and other such.....

Anything new you think needs added to the all things root guide needs to be pm'ed to the author of the guide:D. The thread Stays closed.:) That way it wont turn into a free for all:D
 
Ahhhhhh, yeah I knew the Warp was stuck because of RAM and am relieved the Sequent isn't suffering from it. Just when I thought our OG Warp devs were at a crossroads MrBobo goes and updates n00b ROM to version 8 and my old Warp grew some serious balls. MrBobo's got some talent and I'm happy he plays for our team for sure! My warp has NEVER been better

In all seriousness, though, I know you guys can't wait to try out new things, and I for one can't wait to meet that demand! But at the same time, I'm trying to dedicate more time on the new WOEM to make it perform better than before. This will definitely make things take longer, but in the long run I think everyone will benefit all the more :)

I hear you, man! After making the locked bootloader mistake once with the Motorola I1, I said NEVER again.
