A few months ago I was a Boost evangelist, now not so much based on the throttle.
Couldn't have said it better myself, I even toted how generous they were by giving us unlimited data to my sister so she signed up for 2 phones feb 1st, now they start throttling.
I understand the business reasons for throttling, and certainly in a congested area if you're using up a big chunk of available data transfer rate, or are using 20GB/mo or more, throttling is warranted. If you're going to throttle each person as soon as they hit 2.5gb of data, that's not unlimited. That's a 2.5GB allowance with limited usage thereafter.
It truly should be illegal to call something unlimited and then induce a cap. That's like saying this is an all you can eat buffet, but you can only have 2 plates of food. Granted, the average probably is 2 plates of food, but that's not "all you can eat", and advertising it as such shouldn't be permitted.
